  • I remember doing that back in 1985 on my Commodore 64. The device was an elastic head-band and you would think to move forward/backward/sideways in this game. It was pretty cool back in 1985. You can also use it to lower your heart rate. I forget the name of the manufacturer, but it was expensive: $150!!!

As that saying goes, "What is old is new again"

  • imagine playing gmod like that....

  • Sweeeeet

  • this is why mingebags act how they do it's difficult for them to use their minds...

  • Love the way they actually fake this, Its in Gmod, and any gmod player will know that there are Thrusters and Hooverballs on those. Except invisible ones without sound.

  • project natal

  • gmood! :D

  • lol g1

  • I just want to tell you that you should check out Emotiv Epoc if you are more into this "force" thing.

And I also want to add that NeuroSky only can read like 2 emotions, and when you see the dude moving around he actually uses "W,S,A,D. Emotiv Epoc does actually read more emotions, and instead of just have one electrode in the headset like NeuroSky, the Epoc has 16. Indeed it costs more money, but its for you to decide how much you want to invest in something as cool as this.

  • This is going to be the sweetest of the sweetness game in the world.

  • LOL! Dark vader??? rofl

  • just imagine logging into a game and you have 100% efficiency rather than using thumbsticks and buttons

  • Garrysmod 4 evah!

  • Its not what it looks like. The hardware does not "read" your mind. It just measures the level of electromagnetic activity of the brain which can increase or decrease based on concentration. You could achieve the same thing by measuring your blood pressure or making a tight fist and measuring your strength.

  • very nice, would definitely be an opportunity to focus the mind.

  • nICE COMMENT

  • i wanna play!

  • No flipp'n way. No way uh naw.

    Can it be?

Whicked. Advancement in this technology can be utitlized and numerous industries. Dear God imagine perform brain surgery with the mere thought of what should be done. Or driving a car...

I wonder though, what if your mind just goes hay wall and spontaneously thinks of crashing the car rather than slowing down..or squeezing the heart rather than treating it.

  • Yeah, if it really is possible, it can bring benefit to other field as well, not just games. But there are probably some risks involve, which can be bad.
