Um... No. They have the same singer and the same drummer, but they do HAVE two guitarists. They are different than the bassist in TFK. FM Static doesn't have a bassist. And FM Static has toured, but they don't tour as the front band. They are always touring as a backup band and has the opener. But they are completely different except for the singer and drummer.

(that rly tires trev and steve) but yeah they do tour! they dont have two guitarist i dont think... they used to but I'm pretty sure that now it's just Trevor and Steve. Oh yeah, I know there are a lot of prejudices against Chrsitians and basically against anyone who claims to acknowledge the Creator.

I find it totally right to play whatever music they'd like to, and I wouldn't say that they are doing anything against God or something like that. It becomes sooner or later very apparent that the point they're making is that you have a purpose in life by God.

Even if they don't make anyone believe just because a song, they might lessen the prejudice.

i think that the point they are trying to make in this song is that even extreme popularity doesnt bring fufillment, and that its not the popularity that counts, but what you actually do with it. However, I do agree that many of their songs are on the verge of crossing the line, and the songs that do carry meaningful messages seem to hide the the message so that they may be too easily interpreted into something else.

Even though they are Chrsitian they don't always say it out loud like, "oh, God you're so holy" etc... The leading singer is Trevor McNewan, also in Thousand Foot Krutch, a leading Christian band from Toronto. They do make it obvious in some of their songs (in "Something To Beleieve In" and in "A Nice Piece Of Art" by FM static as well as in the songs of TFK). And even though it is true they don't always make it obvious in these songs, they are putting Christian messages and values in them.

They are one of the great christian bands that are great because yeah they might not be singing "praise God" but they make clean fun music and that is a way of praiseing him, and some of their songs are "impowering" it's just a little dif then like casting crowns, and thats ok.
