@JackHighlander This symbolizes dualities uniting as one. Male-female Light-Dark etc. Represents balance. All the pictures of the hindu gods are very symbolic, but do not get caught up in the mysticism of it. It has has significance, for example Nataraj, Shivas creator/destroyer dancing form, is standing on a little demon which represents the ego. You must keep your foot on your ego or it is likely to get back up. Things along this nature.
If this is what India has to offer to their religion then christians have lost by not keeping up with the times i mean their are christian trance songs but their no where near as good or as main stream as shiva trance is.
