@Sarc37 I hope your not passing judgement on people who use crack. Just kidding. This show always brings me back. I always wanted a Batman: The Animated Series crossover.
Illuminati? I think that detective, and his script writers, know more then they're letting on. The spooky part of it all is... Their right. north America IS run by the Illuminati.
If the gargoyles ever went to Borough, Alaska when it's 30 days of night they wouldn't have to sleep for a whole month... But that could also be bad if they needed to sleep to heal themselves... Nonetheless it'd be a half good, half bad idea
only kids show that talks about the luminati and great authors,why oh why did they get rid of this show.the shows today require nothing less then a complete shutdown of the brain.
@mickylord21 That's because "breakfast" doesn't refer to a time of day, it refers to "breaking the fast" as in the fasting (not eating) you do from dinner, through sleep, and until you wake again or about an entire third of the day, the longest time between meals..
You cut out the part where Matt mentions the illuminati. He says it right at 7 mins into the show.You sliced the part out where Eliza gets a call from the police radio that there's a break in at the art museum
3:43 - the most gorgeous and beautiful moment of Goliath. I wish they could have kept that for the entire series, but I guess it was hard for them. This is the best kind of animation I like-sometimes the proportions are off and its a bit awkward, but the background is fantastic the voicing is great and we get beatiful incredible moments of animation like that

@badboybrawl9977 He might be a descendant of Nordic/Indo-European people and/or pre-Greek/Minoan people. I believe his last name Xanatos is Greek and is an alternate spelling for Thanatos, the god of death.
@XuanDi@BewareSwordflash Dr. Facilier in Princess and the Frog, and he played in the movies Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick. I'm pretty sure the man playing Xanatos played Riker in Star Trek: The Next Generation, along with Demona being done by the woman that played Deanna Troi from the same series. *nodnod*
i love how they always used music that matched the scene perfectly in this series. Such as Xanatos and Owen sparring, the Dojo style music was a nice touch
Ok. Is it wrong for me to like this? My wife thinks so. When Gargoyles first came out back in the early 90s I was in my mid-30s and I loved it! Now here in 2010, I am 50 and I still think this is the coolest damn show! I now get to even watch some of the episodes that I missed.
I think that's awesome. I'm a child of the 90's, 92 to be exact and I watched this when I was young and still remember it to be one of my favourite shows of all time. And I think there's something really neat about an 18 year old and a 50 year old enjoying the same show. Especially an animation! You have good taste!...^.^...
@clanmacduff660 Theres NOTHING wrong with it, theres plenty of adults who read comics, watch cartoons, because it is enjoyable for them. Hell. cartoons even slip in stuff for the adults to catch
It's not wrong at all. I love this show and I'm 20 years old! Haha. My aunt also has the entire video collection of this series and she's at least 50. And don't worry, my boyfriend thinks I'm a total nerd for liking this too. :)

@Elyograg1 Wait... you looked up Dostoevsky and you found nothing? What search engine are you using? Found plenty of sites. Also you can spell his name Dostoevsky.
Wow. Who knew that Disney could actually work something like the Illuminati into their works. Just goes to show how dulled to this kind of stuff we have become today.
Time to wake up people. Can't wrap everything in bubble wrap and hide from the evil that is the word Christmas anymore! Time to man up and start actually doing something productive instead of whining over every little word.
This show is watchable for all audiences, I'm 20 and this show is still so addictive and compelling and interesting. More so now cause I can truly appreciate it opposed to when I was a kid.
@Xienis true, but also less so because adult eyes are more perceiving and critical. all the old shows, well, i can still appreciate their charm and i get all giddy with nostalgia, but you also notice major plot holes, too great stretches of belief, and poor character development/motivation/irrational behavior. still, nice to watch and reminisce.

@Elyograg1 Wait... you looked up Dostoevsky and you found nothing? What search engine are you using? Found plenty of sites. Also you can spell his name Dostoevsky.

I'm sorry, but reading by moonlight in an immense library is so damn sexy XD As a bookworm, I can barely contain myself

If the book that Goliath is reading is real...wonder where I can find it cause he makes it look like an interesting book to read
yamiyugifangirl 1 year ago
@yamiyugifangirl there are lots of books by Dostoevsky; look up a list of his best novels and read those;

This show is watchable for all audiences, I'm 20 and this show is still so addictive and compelling and interesting. More so now cause I can truly appreciate it opposed to when I was a kid.

@Xienis so true
dale2288 1 year ago
@Xienis true, but also less so because adult eyes are more perceiving and critical. all the old shows, well, i can still appreciate their charm and i get all giddy with nostalgia, but you also notice major plot holes, too great stretches of belief, and poor character development/motivation/irrational behavior. still, nice to watch and reminisce.
