This is proper music, most music these days is about "Hey, im heading to the club to drink a lot and get laid", it just sounds like an alarm clock getting battered with an auto tuned voice saying random s*** in the background. People like eminem, the kooks, mcfly, and tinie tempah all have stories to tell and care about the music and try to voice their thoughts in the song (eminem and tinie arn't the best examples but they tried hard to get in the music industry). @crabbypaddy75 Zep, Beatles, The Stones were all influenced by american black blues artists and people like Little Richard, Elvis. The early Rock bands pulled heavily from these people. The Stones got their name from a Muddy Waters tune. A lot of UK bands as well got their punk influences from the likes of Lou Reed, New York Dolls, The Ramones You'd initially said the UK doesn't look to the US for inspiration and I disagreed with that. I do agree both sides pull from each other Peace man!:)

I would just like to say that I liked The Kooks' music before I even knew what they looked like. My boyfriend used to listen to them a lot and he didn't even know the lead singer's name. It disappoints me to see so many people (girls) at their concerts all dolled up like they're going to get something from Luke. They are people who play music for a living. If they all worked at McDonald's and smelled like grease they wouldn't even ask their names.
