@DjShredderbeat No it's normally attached to you're actual hair. It's not a stupid question i thought the same thing at one point in time. Oh and from the looks of it his hair was yarn not actual sinthetic dread falls. the "hat" as you call it is basically a bandana. You can look up how to make them on here and how to put them in.
