This song really needs to be re-released with the current state of things today. Rich folks in the US paying ZERO taxes and working folks taking cuts.
I absolutely agree. BS what is going on now. I wonder what the rich were thinking back in 83? We are going to give the politicians a beat down if this crap doesn't change!!!
@dpeab11370 the singer is Marc Storace. he was also the guy who made Vesuvius that was in the movie "the rocker", but he did it in 1986, and they only made 2 songs (promised land, and pompeii nights) which they also used in the rocker. and AC/DC offered him to be the new singer after Bon Scott died, because he sounds like him a lot, but he refused the offer
Krokus sucks but I have to admit storace would have been much better than brian johnsons non singing ass.Ac dc would have been better with him in the band and they could actually play old acdc songs, brian johnson had some good hits with acdc but his ability to do bon scott songs is non existent and storace could do it
Wow, remember when musicians could actually play their guitars, sing in tune, and actually have an album consistant all the way thru!! I miss great music, now all we have is rap or death, oh and Nicklecrap!
Krokus wasn't "glam"...glam was all those bleach-blonde poseur fags with hairspray, spandex, plastic songs and no talent that polluted the airwaves in the late 80's, before GnR and Nirvane/Seatlle destroyed them forever...thank God!
Uh, dude? Krokus tried being one of those bands...watch the Midnight Maniac video if you don't believe me. The metal people shunned them after that, and the MTV fans didn't take to them and that's when they fell off the face of the earth....
I saw them on a bill with Def Leppard and Gary Moore during the Pyromania/Headhunter/Corridors Of Power tour. They were actually very good, as good as Leppard at that time.
Yada, Yada, Yada, Just face it you little piece of fecal matter, you like of bunch of "Hasbeens".. Dammit!!! NO cheese on that burger you little burger.
@JohnnyStorm2007 well acdc found a pretty good singer too that matched the good old acdc vocal but storace voice rocks too man! proud to be an swiss guy because this is a swiss band ;-)
@JohnnyStorm2007 I do like Brian Johnson but to be honest Storace sounds MORE like Bon Scott, so if that would have happened; it would have been kick ass for sure. Brian yells but Marc sings.
thats right on the money,i know its an old post but this guy sounds dead ringer for acdc bigtime ,kinda like bon scott crossed with brian johnston, see ya man !!!
Storace is a legend, but he's too much like bon scott to replace bon scott. It would almost be insulting to him to have someone so alike, I think Brian Johnson is a fucking legend, he, along with all of us has great respect for The great Late bon scott (rip) but takes the band in a cool direction
@JohnnyStorm2007 I kinda agree, but I really like Brian Johnson. Johnson's personality definetly fits with the rest of the band, and I'm not so sure Storace's would have. Plus Storace was offered the job but he turned it down because he thought Krokus were on the verge of breaking big. I'm glad it turned out the way it did, although I always wonder what it would have sounded like with Storace on vocals.
@JohnnyStorm2007 YEAH I SAID THE SAME THING BACK IN 1982!! WHEN YOU LISTENED TO THE "HEADHUNTER" ALBUM, YOU COULD CLOSE YOUR EYES & IMAGINE THAT THIS IS HOW BON SCOTT WOULD HAVE SOUNDED, AS HE LEFT BEHIND THE SOUTHERN ROCK SOUND OF "HIGHWAY TO HELL",......AND ENTERED THE 1980'S, INTO A NEW SOUND CALLED, "HEAVY METAL"! MARC STORACE SOUNDED ALOT LIKE BON SCOTT WHEN HE SANG, BUT WHAT SEPARATED THE TWO, WAS THAT STORACE ALSO HAD "GREAT VOICE RANGE"! LIKE THE FINAL SCREAM ON "HEADHUNTER"!
@JohnnyStorm2007 Yes and no. With him in ac/dc we don't get this song or the headhunter record. Love Brian, but marc would've been a better replacement
@JohnnyStorm2007 If I remember right Storace was invited to audition with them but he himself said,"I think Krokus is gonna be much bigger", so he turned it down. You gotta remember AC/DC were just starting to really take off when Bon died, they still were'nt that big a deal in the U.S. yet, so I could see Storace logic at the time,I don't feel it was arrogance on his part.I think he woulda been a good replacement too!
You are a native english speaker and still talk like a donkey? Every baby could form more intelligent sentences...
How about you listen to whatever boygroup you think is cool, and let the rest of us enjoy music that we like. Where's the need of pissing everybody off just because you don't like a band?
the swiss do not make rock music? how fucking racist is that? every country has good rockbands, what the fuck does the heritage have to do with anything? and comparing krokus with vanilla ice is a goddamn insult, of course they took stuff from dc, but they had a lot of innovative songs as well so consider your words better next time
They're so much of an insult to AC/DC that AC/DC actually asked Marc Storace to replace Bon Scott before they asked Brian Johnson. Why don't you learn a thing or two about rock/metal, then start leaving comments?
