  • cn u plz explain about these.

  • cooool..though you should be atleast explaining the exp. in the description box!

  • its sulfur hexafluoride i learned from mythbusters

  • the video did`nt show How to float on the air

  • steve spangler science much ?

  • Wtf? Darn ... So they call this magic? Magic = this

  • huh?

  • it's sulfur hexafluoride, i suppose

  • HOW DO U DO THAT?????

just explain how to get the gas to make the thing float

  • @TurboxFire usafshrek: "the gas is called sf6, or sulfur hexaflouride. it's an inert gas that is heavier than air, does not support combustion, and does not allow electricity to arc through it. it's used in very sensitive high voltage radar equipment. also, IT WILL KILL YOU. it does this the same way water will drown you. it's heavier than air, so it will collect in your lungs and replace all the oxygen and you will drown. i know this because i work with it every day."

  • @dualCranKy

    Nice! Thanks for the explanation.

  • @pofrani I actually just copy&pasted the explanation... I dont know anymore, where i got it from, but the guy called himself: Usafshrek

  • how do u do that???

  • im just asking dont think im stupid but was that a vaccum or some kinda gas?

  • co2

  • It's a heavy gas the opposite of helium it makes your voic very deep

  • so aswem

  • what is it?

  • i wish i can float like that , :(

  • 47 people don't know how to have fun... :(

  • could we jump in it and fly like a butterfly

  • @adam13255 THAT WOULD BE AWESOME

  • now, where are our hovercrafts ?????

  • suprise!Tomorrow`s gonna b your fave day if you don`t post this to other 5 videos....you`ll die in 2 days.......It`s just a joke

  • @superbolt2012 *Huggs*

  • pretty

     goooooooooood

  • nerdz

  • its a noble gas... whats so amazing about this??

  • @danmcdonalds its sulfur hexafluoride, noob

  • @liam552 is it called sf6? i heared about it

  • @LesMuise yes

  • @danmcdonalds no, it really isn't. It's sulphur hexaflouride, and neither sulphur or flourine are noble gasses. And it's really cool, too.

  • Its Sulpher HexaFluride

  • magnetized look.. when he put he's hand near the props it's move in the opposite

  • @zkevencBO no its a heavy gas, the same thing would happen if you floated something in water and put your hands in the water near it, also how would his hands be magnetic to repel the "boat"

  • A WIIIIIIIIIIIIIITCH!!!!!

  • MYTH BUSTERZ

  • very nice experiment send more like this.........

  • Sorry :( You wont be able to swim in this stuff, it's not as dense as water :3

  • WTF

  • CO2 probably. But SF6 would be better :D

  • cool lol!!!!!!

  • this was performed on mythbusters!

  • fail

  • O SHIT I WANT TO SWIM AROUND THAT!!!

Thumbs up if you want to swim in that thing!!

  • @Kbtoys124 dont swim in until you get your super man suit on and then say LOOK AT ME MA IM FLYING lol and i did thumb up

  • @Kbtoys124 you would die of oxygen deprivation...

  • What gas is that?

    where can i get some

  • What gas is that?

  • They did that on Mythbusters.

  • @justgabe100 What about Ions?!?!?! Thats Sulfer Hexafluride.

  • Can someone plz, plz tell me what gas was in there? Comment on my post to tell me plz!

  • @damaster816 Carbon Monoxide.

  • @Fredddeee123 I highly doubt it since you can die from carbon monoxide

  • @Fredddeee123 Sulfer hexafluoride

  • big words theyhurt they hurt

  • dude it was hydrogen

  • @4muck Uh.......no. Hydrogen doesnt stay put like that....it would escape from the aquaium pretty quickly.

  • its boron moron

  • @mileyroxforev SF6 is heavier than air so your voice sounds deeper if you breath it in.

But like I said neither of these gasses are breathable gasses. Prolonged exposure will cause you to suffocate. but of course you can breathe a little bit in and talk to have some fun.

  • @mileyroxforev well i can tell you SF6 isnt the way to go. Ill try to explain it.

Let air weight 5. The unit of measurement doesn't matter right now.

The stuff (Sulfur Hexafluoride) that was in that fish tank weighed MORE than 5. Lets say 8. So it sinks to the bottom like salt would in a glass of water.

Helium is lighter than air, 3, and floats above it like you see a balloon floating.

Helium as im sure you know, makes your voices more high pitched (because its lighter)

  • @mileyroxforev if you breathed it in your voice gets a lot deeper. its sulfur hexafloride or SF6. google it. If you filled your room with it youd suffocated because it isnt an efficient replacement for oxygen. a person even a new born baby is too heavy to float in it.

  • @mileyroxforev ......is that a serious question. its heavier than air, not a person.

  • Good job, boys

  • SF6, used for high voltage systems

  • it was on "ELLEN" yesterday october/29th/2010 and she poured into her mouth and sounded like CHER it was kinda cool actually. The same tin boat experiment was done also. He stuck a stun gun in the tank and it snuffed it out and started up again as soon as it came out of the tank. Where do you get this stuff?

  • howd u do it????

  • @HariPuttar1 Sulfur hexafluoride is repellent to aluminum foil. So, when it's placed in the boat, as its repellent force is not as strong as the gravity on Earth in most places, is canceled and sinks.

  • @DeltaSalamence dear god i hope youre joking.

  • Anti helium

  • @Bjo15 In other words, it is the opposite of helium (not scientifically speaking).

  • i did this and my sis jumped in cuz we used a big box and she was floating and i jumped in and "I" was floating too! it was so amazing! I was like "I'm flying I'm flying!"

  • oh ehm gee they did this on mythbusters

  • how do u do it?

  • @pivot ooh ur soo old

     Lol

  • WTF IT SAYS HOW TO TO TEACH US NOT TO SHOW US U JUST PRESENTING IT N LEAV US WITH THE HOW TO DO IT.

  • @lyon87mex simple as this and ill explain because im a 14 year old... they are using a non-poisinous gas that is heavier than air which makes it not float. the tin foil boat is either lighter or not as dence as the gas in the box. its easy to scoop up and pour out of the cup because (again) its heavier than air. when the aluminum box is filled with the gas and not air its heavier than the gas in the box because of the added weight of the aluminum it sinks there you go

  • @pivotrjrules he wasn't actually scooping the gas.... the gas was just flowing out of the tank, causing the aluminum boat to "sink". they just "scooped" it to give it a cooler effect. watch at the end... it falls down before he's even done "scooping"

  • There is no spoon ^.^

  • Inheal this stuff make u doing like a devil....

  • the title sais: how to float on the air. i think you got the wrong title for the vid.

  • imagine a pool lol

  • HOW DENSE IS THAT MOTHER BEEPIN AIR!? o:>

  • now im crazy people and if this doesnt prove it than i dont know. what if you fill a see-through pool with this gas and swim around in it? =D thumbs up if u agree im crazy!

  • @sweetcandypop34 it probley would work but you would need air tanks so you could breath.

  • @sweetcandypop34 hay look no water im as light as a feather wichaa...

  • @sweetcandypop34 you will die in between 5 second and 1 minute....

  • @sweetcandypop34 That gas is a well known greenhouse gas, so it's probably not going to happen.

  • @sweetcandypop34 you'd still sink. they use sulfure hexafluoride that is 5 time denser than air. water is like 700 times denser. it enough for that card board boxes but not for a humain being;

  • cool

  • not so impressive...

  • I seen mythbusters do it, it really works

  • fake shrink!

  • Magnets or fishing line

  • no

     its helium

  • @rogiric get a decent education fucking faggot

  • i wonder if you put your hand in there, you feel any opposing force. (:

  • the titles only correct if your suggesting that you breathe sulfur Hexaflouride. which would be funny if you did because your voice would be LOW #LOL

  • @larrymandude2012 its not invisible string, its just a gas more dense then the air, duh!

  • So it is: S(1)Fl(6)

  • I already saw this one mythbuster

  • 1.take a deep breath

    2. think of someone u like

    3. press F10 5 times

    4. send this to 5 youtube videos

    5. look at ur backround

  • @MrJahmar I suggest you also start breathing again xD

  • all it is, is AC air

  • lool they did this by filling a box full of methane and resting a paper boat in it in Imperial College London for some younger students visiting. so cool.

  • This is real they proved it on myth busters

They use a gas heavier than oxygen

  • i think they used "StringsAttachedToFinFoilOxide"

  • Aww leave him alone people! So maybe he isn't a " sciene genius " but neither am I, people aren't perfect.. Cool video! (:

  • Imagine filling a concealed room with tanks of that stuff! EVERYBODY WAS KUNG-FU FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @VideoGodProductions SHIT! THATS A GENIOUS IDEA! ill help!

  • @JiMaNeYbOb Regardless of what gas you're using, odds are that if you pump it into a sealed room like that, you'll end up replacing all the oxygen in that room. Continued bare lung exposure to foreign gasses like that will kill you. People have been known to die because they thought that inhaling excess amounts of helium was a good idea.

  • @VideoGodProductions That, or everybody's suffocating...

  • @VideoGodProductions everyone would suffocate

  • @VideoGodProductions ummmmmmmmmm. it would make "air" heavier, and "Sulfur Hexafluoride" doesn't sound healthy :P

  • @VideoGodProductions u would very soonly suffocate though

  • @VideoGodProductions its a gas like heilum but it's denser about 5 times than air...so if you were to breathe it you'd have a very deep voice

  • @chickenpoper doesnt a big dose of CO2 do that?

  • @quinnnnman i dont think so. But any gas safe for you denser than air a considerable amount of times (5) it will make your voice deeper vise versa with less dense gases

  • @chickenpoper oh so since helium is less dense than oxygen it will rise in the air and it also makes your voice lighter right?

  • @quinnnnman Correct! >:-)

  • idiots... its fart

  • The gas is called sulphurhexafloride i think!

  • @killedb4u that is also S(1) Fl(6)

  • It's not floating on air if you used a gas which is heavier than air... You know what? I'd explain the flaws in your title more, but I have the flu.

  • @Robotoh dont have to be a dick

  • @ilikefishsticks1 Well you don't have to call me a dick. I don't like liars. Stretching the truth is a codeword for lying dude.

  • First of all the title is HOW to float. This is flotING. Second it is Sulfur Hexafluoride, as stated in the description.

  • omg ppl stop guessing it is sulfur hexoflouride! it even says so in the description.

  • Sulfur Hexafluoride , not Carbon Monoxide its a toxic gas.

  • Comment removed

  • its carbon monoxide dude

  • It's sulfur hexafluroide; it's 6 times denser then air.

  • my guess is carbon monoxide

  • i really doubt they would use something as poisonous as carbon monoxide lol

  • @AscianWalker ? He said "SULFUR HEXAFLUORIDE." It's a non-toxic substance, and it is not flammable. Therefore no danger in it at all.

  • nice! not much of a tutorial, tho...

  • mythbusters tested this

  • carbon dioxide would be my guess, 37.5% heavier than oxygen, is also used it the pouring out candles trick with baking soda and vinegar as a way to fill/generate the co2 in the dispenser, they could also be used to fill this tank if you wanted to do this at home without the fancy tube/equipment

  • Sulfur hexafluoride

  • what kind of gas?????

  • @runeairs Probably carbon dioxide, easy to get in pure form and overall heavier than air.

  • cool, but not actually floating on air. they have different types of gas in there and no air

  • @Anoburn Air is just a mixture of gases....and they probably dont have different types of gas in there

  • ok, but i mean they probably have just a very heavy gas in there so that light boat with air in it can fly on the gas

  • a invicible water xD!

  • *invisable

  • lol its not air its a gas thats is heaver then air like Bo so oh

  • i guess we are closer to flying aluminum covered box cars

  • shut up fucker

    face

  • What kind of gas are they using for this?

  • The description, read it.

  • the mythbusters did this too!

  • chem 112 is where i learned about sulfur hxafloride. i guess it really does work

  • they did this on mythbusters

  • cool dude

  • cool

  • @JaPenny98

STARTED READN DIS DONT STOP THIS IS SO SCARY.

DON'T BE A DICK AND SO THIS SILLY CHILDISH SHIT LIKE COPYING AND PASTING THE STUPID "DO THIS TO GET THAT" SHIT BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK. DON'T DO IT AND YOU WON'T GET FLAMED.

THIS IS SO SCARY IT ACTULLY WORKS

  • Get the fuck out of YouTube.

  • This gas is heavier than air. If you put it in a balloon then breathe it like helium, your voice would became lower. XD mythbusters!!!

  • I need this experiment for our science project, please teach me how....

  • u will need Sulfur Hexafluoride fot this experiment n how? simple, couse Sulfur Hexafluoride is about 6 times heavier than air, that is all u need to know for this...

  • i think this is mythbusters....

  • i saw that as wll! lol

  • ZOMG......

  • It's gas....

  • probabilmente dentro la vasca c'è un gas pesante!

  • Sulfur Hexafluoride is the chemical compound being used. It is much heavier than air, and so much in fact it is also known as "anti-helium". It's a gas that's close to the density of water. Which is why the aluminum floats.

  • its helium

  • @rogiric helium is a light gas. helium is what makes balloons float when they are filled with it dumbass.

  • @rogiric You are stupid... It's not helium... If it was, nothing would happen... Please propose how helium can be used to float this OPEN TOPPED boat.

  • @BrenAGC if it's known as "anti-helium", if you inhale it, would it make your voice go deep like barry white? XD
