Most of the population isn't religious....I work with about 250 people at my job and I'd say about 15 of them actually go to church. 2ndly there are other jobs out there that require major intelligence besides a scientist. Lastly scientists who believe in God are ridiculed by their peers, and some hide their faith, which to me is silly, because I would be proud to believe in God and not give 2 shits on what other people think.
