  • Hey, when will you be uploading a new tutorial? Thanks!

  • You should play the tune in the first round of your tutorials slightly slower. It's still too fast for learners.

  • @Eilysanca I've started re-recording a lot of my earlier lessons in that way. This one was by request through my website and the requester wanted to hear the tune with all embellishments and such so that's why I did it this way here. Going forward the lessons will be more along the lines of the ones that I've posted recently.

  • @whistletutor Thanks for your reply! Ah, I see, that's alright then. I think both versions are good because the complete and faster one can inspire you to do your own embellishments. I'm going to keep an eye on it :)

  • that doesn't even really sound like it you know. it's too "fancy" and you're not even playing what it sounds like. could you do it the proper way and slower?

  • @huonvalley You might be thinking about the Em Toss the Feathers. That's a different tune, though I might be able to work up a lesson on that one at some point.

  • I have posted a few other lessons without the embellishments so hopefully that will help -- this one was a request by someone who wanted to hear my take on the tune.

  • what does it give without the gracenotes?

    maybe a bit dull ^^
