Last Year was an ouch. I wasn't happy when they got rid of Paul Martin, and Jamie Langenbruner. Now they have 3 alternates, no captain yet... idk I love the Devils, Idk I am in SOUTH Jersey, New Jersey is New Jersey and I hate the Flyer for stealing half of the fan base. I hope the Devils can do better and Larrson can help. I wan Elias to be Captain I thought he was a good one like Langenbruner. I'll miss Martin and Langenbruner. GO DEVILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we stuck by our team for about 4 months of hell and those who still believed were rewarded graciously with the most unbelievable comeback in NHL history. They deserved to make the playoffs that year but it was too little too late. i have friends who were rag fans who were rooting for NJ.. we went from other fans saying "o good we're playing against NJ tonite" to "o shit, NJ tonite?" and it was a beautiful ride marty, kovy, and the rest of the gang gave us this year.. come oct we'll start fresh

Devils are an amazing team on paper, maybe even slightly overpowered (especially with a 4th pick for the draft). But any team can suck if they are unorganized or have a poor leader. That's why Maclean threw us in the gutter and then Lemaire came on his magical unicorn and lead us to a 13 game winning streak and almost 6 points within making the playoffs.

the only reason was that first half of the year, we thought it would be nice for maclean to be coach but Johnny Mac was a well umm horrible coach ( great player tho), we ended the year on a winning note so i expect that to extend in to next year
