My first true love. Many was the night in the 60's when she sang me to sleep from an old record player. I knew the voice was perfect but never realised what an excellent guitarist she was. A sublime fingerpicker. Joan Baez in Concert (1 and 2?). I think I'm still in love - 50 years later.

this is the first ive ever heard of her music!!!! sorry i grew up with the 90's unfortunately....wow love at first sight or first voice! why is she so sad? i think she was lonely in the cruel destructive world.....thats what her singing/playing tells me...very lonely even in a crowded room.

@maccaBable  You ask why she seems so sad, yes she is really sad here as Bob Dylan had just broken up with her and she said it really hurt her at that time.
