@Airek2007 Actually, the snare is from FL. The only MOR instrument is the bassline, but MOR drums were used on my FL/EWQL Creepy Horror Beat video, if you're interested. As far as hip hop goes, Ministry of Rock adds nice flavor to the mix with other instruments, but I wouldn't highly recommend it for that genre. Thanks for listening and commenting.
Check this out, I remix this beat and we can split it 50/50 what ever it comes out to be plus I would like to work with you on some future projects. imma do all the promotion from the underground. Most record companies aint ready for the NEW AGE Music. Lets get this money Holla email Miamicat@msn.com so we can get this legal shit out the way.
This shit sounds like it needs to be in a ratchet and clank game or somethin haha. like this honestly would fit in perfectly in one of those games if you listen to their other music
im feelin this bro....i wondered if u can answer a question ...is it easy to use this plugin on fl studio im looking to get goliath but not sure about software ive always used hardware ..racks and modules....also ive got windows 7 and on the website it says vista n xp .....
i really enjoy listening to your stuff man. got real talent. even if its just for fun. thats how i do it. just for fun. its nice to just sit done, and throw out a beat and the satisfaction of completeing it then getting good reviews back from it. keep it up and keep having fun
yeahtheman, ide like to use sum of your music for a halo 3 montage, its a 3month project, anywayz let me know what ya think, GT: Im Death Note or just message me, dont want any copright infrictions =0 so thought ide ask
Sorry for the late reply, and I'm cool with you using it. Add my name in the credits and it's all good. Just send me a PM with your e-mail address, if you are still interested, and I'll send you the mp3. Thanks for listening.
The dollar amount of something doesn't make it expensive...Omnisphere for instance is $500 for a 40 gig library of sounds! Think about what hardware synths cost. The sample memory is a fraction and the sound variety is much smaller...among other things...love this beat by the way!
I've honestly used just East West, so I probably wouldn't be the best person to ask. As far as fat sounds, I'm very interested in Spectronics Omnisphere myself....it's a huge library with tons of synths and orchestral strings I believe. I hear you can do a ton with it, and you might want to check that out. It's a huge library that's also expensive and a resource hog though. East West is great, but does best with film score types of music.
Thanks man. This one was already used in YTBeatBattle, so I doubt they'd use it again. Pretty tough competition on those battles. I've lost to most of them, lol.
I think you have a lot of talent making beats but the poster before mine is right...It sounds like something is missing and i think its the FL Studio holding you back.
I wouldn't blame FL. I wanted more from this beat too, believe me. I went ahead and moved on though, and just decided to leave it the way it is. Thanks for the feedback and checking it out!
it's all good... but something is missing .... cus i love doing hip hop dances to music like this ... but i don't know, there's something that u need to make it reall fucking good ;) ...but i like this one.. a lot !!
Yeah I put a lot of effects in this one. The percussion are under Packs in FL Studio......FPC hi hats, Real Drumkits for the snare, and hip hop kick #2.
ill put your face in a polefene rapper till all you can see through youre eyes are blacka ill go with outa trace so noone will be able to name the attacker
Hey man did you have to buy a kit for those instruments? I been jamin fruities for a few years but im more of a loop beat maker if u know what i mean im trying to mix it up a lil but wanting to get some more samples.. would you know where i could get some good orchestra type one? T
I mostly used vsts from East West libraries but some are from FL. I've honestly never used loops so I'm not sure where to find them. There are plenty out there though and I would check out a few forums to get some feedback. Thanks for listening.
If u ever tempted to start using vsts, edirol have got one caled orchestral that's pretty hot. Like the beat yeahtheman, what plug u using for the horns?
I mainly used the french horns and trombones from the East West Orchestra Gold vst. There's lots of articulations to choose from as well...it's pretty cool.
Thanks man! For software I guess it depends on what genre you are interested in. If you want to get into something like film or game scores I'd recommend getting the best desktop pc you can afford with the most RAM. (like 16GB or better for performance). Large harddrive speed of 7200 RPM minimum. It will save a lot of frustration....trust me, I'm running everything off my laptop and it can be a pain. I've only used EastWest software myself so I can't really compare it to anything else.
16GB RAM?! Lol I think that might be going a little overboard. Trust me you will never be able to use that much effectively anyway.
Eastwest is great for sound samples - Try Stormdrum 2 for some really fat percussion sounds. For mixing software the best out there is still Logic.. for which you will need a Mac :( Otherwise Pro tools is good.
A lot of composers use multiple computers so they can work faster and more efficiently so if you are only working with one computer, it's best that you have that much RAM considering the new software with such high requirements these days. Sure, you can do it with less, but you won't produce as quickly and you'll need a lot of work arounds to get the job done.
As far as hip hop goes you might not need it at all. I'm speaking for full orchestral scores for film or games as I mentioned above.
In my exprience stormdrum (1 only one I have) sounds a bit on the 'thin'sound, if used in music that does not only contain stuff like orchestral sounds. If i use it combined with guitars and what not, it tends to sound...well literally very 'thin'...not really much low or high notes (mostly low missing) Is stormdrum 2 the same way?
damn dude you got hella talent on them fruitys... yo man i am a producer as well but you're ways better ^^ maybe you can give me ur msn so we can talk... and you give me some tips
I definitely don't have the best computer out there, but I had to upgrade my RAM from 2GB to 4GB and then get an external hard drive to hold the instrument libraries. I can load quite a few instruments at once, but it starts running badly after awhile so I just usually export a pattern to wav, and then delete the instrument. I can still have that same pattern loaded in another FL instrument muted. That way I can easily come back to it I have to make changes. It sucks to do that but it works.
so by quite a few instruments at once, you mean like a drumkit, piano, bass , guitar, and synth? my computer is 8 gig, so you think mine can handle that??
Yeah I've had several comments with that same statement. At first I didn't understand that they were talking about a band. Then by the second comment, I had to check it out for myself. They have good music....I try to sound different but it's very hard to do these days. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate it!
Yeah, I don't think you can make the drum sound any different now a days. Not many people pay so close attention to the drum anyway. The one who commented much be hard core fan of Pendulum.
Nice sound... reminds me more of a film score than hip hop but it sounds good regardless... I could see this go well with a scene out of any of the Bourne movies... keep it up..
LOL i was thinking the exact same thing. in fact i can name the song. Its the intro to SLAM or almost the intro to slam :) Great work Mate. ive just gotten into using some of the EW Vst's, I recently got symphonic choirs, orchestra, Goliath, RA and stormdrum. and love them so far. they make such a difference to songs when you have good quality plugins to use.
Thanks man. I really like EastWest products....I would go with Goliath due to the fact of its extended variety in instruments compared with Ministry of Rock. In my opinion, MOR is impressive as well but performs more effectively with other libraries. Make sure you view the system requirements before purchasing. I had to upgrade my RAM and invest in an external harddrive in order for me to use their software......but don't let that intimidate you. It's well worth it!

Nice work, how do you like the East West products. I've been considering Ministry of Rock or Goliath.
MonsterScanner 3 years ago

Thanks...I appreciate it. The bass VST I used is called, "Musicman HCB" and it's from the Ministry of Rock library by East West.
