Looks like the FLs have a wider fretboard than Maton acoustics, making them better suited for a thumb behind the neck-classical style whereas the the matons would be better for the thumb around the neck-bluesy style. LLoyd does wonderfully with the FLs using a bluesy technique - but the man looks like he has massive hands!

God this guy is good! I picked up the full copy of this workshop from davis wheeler last week, so well done and those guitars in the background are mind blowing impressive.
