Hi guys. I made these the other day and they are amazing. I am on your diet plan. Which meal would this be the best for? Can I use it post strength training? thanks
This is SUCH a great idea. I rarely, if ever, buy protein bars from the store (or processed food in general) because of all the chemicals and crap listed in the 35 word long ingredient list. I'm so glad I stumbled upon tone it up by complete accident. I'm majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Nutritional Sciences and Dance and this is such an inspiration for my future. Love you girls!
@lovebug888 wow yes; since this video we have become fans of organic brown rice protein.. its a raw food, and it digests much easier than whey and artificial powders
@eaglescreek41 we are scouring the globe at this point looking for the Perfect Fit in a raw, vegan quickly digestible delicious protein :) we'll be sure to let you know soon, we think we have it narrowed down!
Hey ladies, I made these bars today and they are officially delicious. Unfortunately they were really sticky and did not set (although I put them in the fridge for ages)! Any advice? I love Toneitup!!! :)
Hey Katrina & Karena, I love all your videos. I am from the UK and just wish I had a beach outide to run on but am making do with lots of fun gym workouts (of course inspired by u!!)
I have a question- I made these delicious bars today and followed your recipe exactly, but the bars turned out really sticky and did not set properly in the fridge. When I came to cut them up they just fell apart. Any advice?
I made these yesterday...omg they taste just like no bake cookies! (i used chocolate muscle milk and dried cranberrys instead) thanks for the recipe! I am going to always have them in the fridge but my familys been eating them like candy so idk how long that will last!
Love your videos by the way..whenever i dont want to work out, ill watch a couple of them and you guys give me the motivation!
I just made these and theyre SO good! I'm a junior in college so these definitely will come in handy on those longer days. After you cut and wrap the bars in foil paper do they need to sit in the fridge or can they sit out?
I just found you guys on youtube and watched like 20 vids lol You both make me wanna work out tomorrow haha Question on the bars. Where do you store them after you make them? Fridge? Cabinet? And how long are they good for? Thanks!! :)
Oh... I forgot to tell you... even my Jack Russell-dog Bella (who btw is VERY picky on treats and foods) loved these! She sat next to me begging the entire time to give her some more haha. But I don't know how proteinpowder will affect a dog tho'... well, I wont give her large amounts of bars even if she would want/like that :-) Just w few bites here and there.
Oh lord these were SO yummie! Made these this evening but I used one red apple instead of apricots just becaues I didn't have any apricots haha. But still sooo good and good you YOU :-) Do you guys have any more recipes on proteinbars? Maybe with low carbs? THANKS! :-)
Hey ladies I just made a batch of these and WOW, they are awesome!!! I did use peanuts because I do not care for almonds all that much, I am going to have to control myself so I do not eat to many. :-) Thanks for sharing!!!
This looks yummy! Thanks for sharing! I'll definitely try this, sans the muscle milk......there isn't much "all natural" about muscle milk! But the rest looks awesome :)
Hahaha- yes that part is optional to add the protein powder. :) They are awesome either way-- you haveee to try them! Today I actually tried the lite mint chocolate muscle milk-- It is amazing in shakes!!
Try using rice protein instead. Stay natural and VERY low on the carbs. Lots of folks use whey protein which is fine but with the rice the carbs are considerably lower. Just a thought.
Hi! I have cheese once in a while as a treat. If I do have cheese-- like right now on my salad-- I am having fat free cheese :) I also lovee low fat cottage cheese. Cheese just has a higher fat content and can have a lot of calories... so if you have it eat it in moderation :)
You guys are great! Wow and they even know how to cook too! Tom Brady, wherever you are I'd get a divorce and marry Katrina. Imagine you and your family could have an athletic trainer in your own home. Your kids will be breaking Olympic records, lol

Hey K & K :) Is it necessary to add the honey and peanut butter or is it just to add more taste to the protein bars?

This recipe is delicious! The only thing is that I find it a bit too sweet. Would using 1/2 cup Honey work just as well?
