My hometown area, I live in NC now, but graduated in 1964. My brother, a Wildwood cop used to love racing down Schellenger Avenue after the labor day weekend. Now you cannot tell when the summer season ends and the "off season" begins. I miss it all, living in NC.
@Wharfomatic Before we lived on 20th St... in 1971 I lived on 8th St across the street from the park near Central. This summer I went back there to look at the property... still looks the same.... weird deja-vu too!
I really have to commend you on such a well-done, heartwarming video! Music is so nice, too, and works well with the images. Really brings tears to my eyes. Great job!
im 19 & have a beautiful g/f right now & i hope to be married like that with a couple kids & take a vid just like that in wildwood. wildwood has ben my second home since i was born.
Hi, do you remember Hunt's Pier? The Golden Nugget, Whacky Shack, etc? Or Morey's Pier when it was brand new in 1969-1970? How about Morey's Pier's Haunted House that opened in 1972 and closed after 1984? I was at WW with my mom, dad, younger brother between 1980-1983 I was between 6-9 years old and again in 95, 96, 98. I remember all the scary rides WW had. I was in Castle Dracula 95, 96, 98. My father passed Mar. 8 1986. We're from Allentown, PA home of Dorney Park.
