Man, I love your experimental cooking style. Actually, it fits remarkably well with something I read once in a baking book, which is that you should never use concrete recipes, but should rather learn to understand how different components fit together so that you don't need recipes. Speaking of which, I made my first ever semi-successful omelet today using the tips presented in your omelet-making videos. So thanks!
@Soapygold Well, thanks for the comp, soapy! And how did your omelette taste? I just came home from the gym and I. am. starving! So if you will excuse me, I need to go and rape the refrigerator.
I really like that dark hair on you, looks great! Those all look like delicious fresh veggies.. you would have to can those for soup though because there's like no time to eat all those.
@EWilsonLife It's my natural hairstyle, E. Just the sun doesn't lighten it in winter. The hair on my arms and legs goes darker as well. Thanks for the compliment! (YouTube doesn't notify comments well. I only get a fraction of the comments people leave.
Nice gift your friend sent! Nice that he remembers you like that. Are the radishes spicey? Where I live I only find these small red ones and they are usually spicey and mildly hot. Your food looks great! You are a good cook! Love the vids! Keep 'em coming! By the way where are you originally from? Canada? Ever miss the foods from your own country?
You crack me up! Make a Daikon martini... everything is good with vodka or gin!
What a wonderful gift..... that keeps on giving. I had Daikon yesterday with lunch, and love it! But that said 7 is a lot.... but they were beautiful and perfect.
Somebody told me the other day I should go and get my eyes examined when I mistook their coffee cup for a trash can. But that is neither here nor there...
Tell you what, if the raw daikon frozen fails, I'll try it with some cooked ones. I'm just hoping it works as well as freezing cut onions; great for pulling out and doing some quick frying!
Much better than I could ever manage to do with all that! Once made hakusai lasagne. Those leaves go really well with tomato sauce and cheese; and layer quite well ,too. 以外と美味しかった。

That is one outstanding friend you have there. If my friends sent me produce like that, I would be in heaven...aside from the smell of daikon... :)

You would probably have better luck freezing the cooked daikon than the raw, i would think.
