I dont see how you have the vocoder, when you have ultimate komplete 8 which has ALOT of plugins that does twice as much.

The Mouth is an awesome plugin, absynth, theres so much you can do with just Ultimate komplete 8 alone.

& as far as synths go in general, i dont see why people are spending thousands on a synth when you have products like Omnisphere Spectrasonics & the orchestra based programs from East West ON TOP of the programs you already have in Komplete 8 ultimate.

Remember, Korg is & always has been a synth maker, Roland is known for synth's, sampler's & drum machines, while Yamaha really built their company on Pianos, drums, basses & guitars. The sound of these workstations are indicative of each company's tru field of expertise! Just remember that if you want to build sounds and sequence music in a relatively short time, NOTHING beats KORG!!!

Nice creative space you've made! I'm a KORG-guy too, so the M3 is definately the way to go!!! I was about to grab Maschine, but I'll wait until I've played with the new Akai gear. Nothing touches an MPC, providing they've done it right. To further clarify the differences between Korg, Yamaha & Roland workstations, Korg offers "hotter" outputs & a more ethereal quality sound overall, Roland has an earthy, warm quality, and Yamaha is somewhere in between...likely as near neutral as you can get!

Best studio setup I have seen in a while. But the one thing that really sticks out is, You don't have anything you don't need. And a true producer limits what he owns to what he needs. not to mention, you have some of the best beats on YouTube. Props!

There are some versions of pro tools wich work on windows, mostly "M Powered", meaning u got to have a M Audio audio interface to make it work, but you can't use more then 3 effect on each channel and you'll be limited to 16 channels, if I remember well..

I was talking about Pro Tools M-Powered ESSENTIALS 8. And it does actually allow using only 3 effect of each of 16 channels. By saying "pro tools generaly doesn't work on windows" I ment that you really have to own a specific piece of gear every time you wanna make it work on windows. So basicly, you can't just make work pro tools on windows randomly. That's all I ment :)

Both pro tools 9 and 10 will work with any core audio or asio compatible audio interface. If it works with logic live, or cubase, it works with pro tools.

Pro Tools is not proprietary anymore since version 10. The wobble bass in dubstep is easy learn to freak your LFO there are great tutorials on Youtube and most people doing dubstep seem to be using Massive. There are also great tutorials online on synthesis especially oscillators.

nice studio man! i like the sounds of the m3 more than the sounds of the fantom... but its my personal opinion... i never make a entire song /beat in a synth... im only use vsts. I have a really big question: When you make your beats, you first secuence the track on the m3 and then, when the instrument track its quantized/edited you record it into your daw, or you play the sound "live" and you directly record it in your daw? do u have soo much latency?
