I dont see how you have the vocoder, when you have ultimate komplete 8 which has ALOT of plugins that does twice as much.
The Mouth is an awesome plugin, absynth, theres so much you can do with just Ultimate komplete 8 alone.
& as far as synths go in general, i dont see why people are spending thousands on a synth when you have products like Omnisphere Spectrasonics & the orchestra based programs from East West ON TOP of the programs you already have in Komplete 8 ultimate.
@landmarqmusic In mine as well. I teach voice/music/multiple instruments, and always play my Lunas when teaching. They are workhorses! They make everything from affordable entry level instruments to high end pro gear...I totally love them.
you don't have to use digidesign or m audio with anything past pro tools 9 now, theres a big list on Avid to see what interfaces are compatible. Jus a heads up
It's crazy to think when I first started watching your vids. Your set up was basically the m3, a pc & krks. Now uve got a proper studio! Hope u do make it m8. U inspire me and ur a likable guy..

Remember, Korg is & always has been a synth maker, Roland is known for synth's, sampler's & drum machines, while Yamaha really built their company on Pianos, drums, basses & guitars. The sound of these workstations are indicative of each company's tru field of expertise! Just remember that if you want to build sounds and sequence music in a relatively short time, NOTHING beats KORG!!!
Nice creative space you've made! I'm a KORG-guy too, so the M3 is definately the way to go!!! I was about to grab Maschine, but I'll wait until I've played with the new Akai gear. Nothing touches an MPC, providing they've done it right. To further clarify the differences between Korg, Yamaha & Roland workstations, Korg offers "hotter" outputs & a more ethereal quality sound overall, Roland has an earthy, warm quality, and Yamaha is somewhere in between...likely as near neutral as you can get!
my dude your the man where is your studio located? I wanna get in the booth and spit some heat I also produce but you just make me wanna rap cause your beats are extra sick

For anyone interested, the iKEY M808's are currently 150 each on Amazon, which is a great deal. Reviews say they are comparable to KRK Rokit 8's which are typically 200 each, but all reviews have said the iKEY's outperform the KRK's.
I was looking into a new set of monitors when i stumbled on i-Key audio : i was curious and hearing your comment has made me confident enough to get em...coz i respect you!!!!
Best studio setup I have seen in a while. But the one thing that really sticks out is, You don't have anything you don't need. And a true producer limits what he owns to what he needs. not to mention, you have some of the best beats on YouTube. Props!
There are some versions of pro tools wich work on windows, mostly "M Powered", meaning u got to have a M Audio audio interface to make it work, but you can't use more then 3 effect on each channel and you'll be limited to 16 channels, if I remember well..
@KaersonTV every ProTools work on windows... and u can use more than 3 effect and u can use 32 tracks where do u get that u cant use more than 3 fx? or 16 tracks? iv have had M-powered and LE both on windows... both can use same ammount of effects, M-poweres is 32 tracks... LE 64tracks thats the only difference ... and the M-audio / Digidesign interfaces of course
I was talking about Pro Tools M-Powered ESSENTIALS 8. And it does actually allow using only 3 effect of each of 16 channels. By saying "pro tools generaly doesn't work on windows" I ment that you really have to own a specific piece of gear every time you wanna make it work on windows. So basicly, you can't just make work pro tools on windows randomly. That's all I ment :)
you say u r still learning about oscillators and massive and synthesizers are you learning through experience or actual tutorials because im still trying to learn it to but i cant find any real tutorials they just show how to make a specific sound not what everything does
Both pro tools 9 and 10 will work with any core audio or asio compatible audio interface. If it works with logic live, or cubase, it works with pro tools.
<--(like #130)Pro tools 9 and up works with any audio interface since avid took over , i say stick with Protools hardware .. but besides that shits Nice we have a Lot ! of the same gear kinda , i think your Next big Buy should probably be like FL studio or an IPAD , people just dont know but you can use any usb audio midi interface to trigger it or you can control it with your pc mouse and keyboard , and like that jazzmutant lemur was 3k and now down to 1200 because now its a $50 APP . check it

nice studio man! i like the sounds of the m3 more than the sounds of the fantom... but its my personal opinion... i never make a entire song /beat in a synth... im only use vsts. I have a really big question: When you make your beats, you first secuence the track on the m3 and then, when the instrument track its quantized/edited you record it into your daw, or you play the sound "live" and you directly record it in your daw? do u have soo much latency?
@landmarqmusic Where in da world do you find time to do music. I bought a Korg Karma from the pawn shop a few years back. Not a wise choice for a noob. I still really don't know how to use it.
