Vegemite is made from used brewers' yeast extract, a by-product of beer manufacturing, various vegetables, wheat and spice additives. It is salty, slightly bitter, and umami or malty – similar to beef bouillon. The texture is smooth, and the product is a paste. It is not as intensely flavoured as British Marmite and it is less sweet than the New Zealand version of Marmite.
This song is very misleading at the beginning... It sounds like a gorgeous love song, and then... "Can you love... Vegemite".
Some of the statements in here ("Spreads this cancer on his toast", "Foul death past in your mouth", etc.), I do have to give her immense credit for being able to fit such words into a song.
Because though I can write stories, I can't write songs for shit, and she's just.... Spectacular.
once in school there was a teacher from australia. she told us about the yummy australian chocolate. we were exited about trying this stuff so our class had to form a line.... and she gave us "australian chocolate"....
and i really like the stuff, can understand why other people wouldn't though (.^_^.) but a briljant song nonetheless saw both of them live Neill came on stage in Amsterdam yeee!
One person isn't a happy little vegemite.

Whenever I sing this, I'm asked if I'm having a row with someone. Omg, Amanda, marry me when Neil dies.

This is bloody brilliant. I have no idea what Vegemite actually is, but it makes the message clear. Laughed like an ass.
