why is this not working for my computer , it gave me choice to choose my hardware controller before i downloaded it and i chose that i didnt have a controller since my controllers not listed ...but its calling for hardware ...how can i set it up for my controller?

@b864r go see about ram upgrades at crucial.com it could REALLY speed up your dj laptop or desktop. i was running windows 7 and using virtual dj on just 512mb of ram and there was not one second when i was worrying about it crashing because it would frequently do so. so i upgraded my random access memory to 2 gb and downgraded to windows xp, turn off all unnecessary services, and uninstall unnecessary software. and voila i have a beast laptop (: easy to purchase,ships fast,easy to do,and cheap

I agree with pdidyp... It's a stepping stone for mobile DJ's to try it out and eventually upgrade to itch or scratch live.

I'm loving the intro with my Mixdeck but I'm already looking to get the itch with the NS6...

@QuiK075 OKAY I should clarify what i said, as a dj, vdj who has spend thousands of dollars in buying and sl3, ttm 57, serato records and so many other things just to use an unstable version of sl it feels like a slap in the face. Serato need a vsl update as well as more stability, why would they come out with this without updating what needs to be done. Btw when it comes down to it we all upgrade our first set up in order to have something better, can you use a 50 dollar mixer?

@johnny2j2 yes i understand your point of view now, but like you said that's something that RANE should be fixing soon i hope, and this is just like a demo let's put it that way, it's for people who is starting that's why it's called intro, so people who really want's to get into the DJ scene will buy the real deal sooner or later, and it dopesn't really matter if you have a 50dls or a 3,000 dls equipment is the way you play and feel the music, but anyway, if you ever come to indy come to BLU

@ProphecyKJC all que points and crates are saved. no you can not record with intro. but there are many programs you can download to do the recording on your laptop while play intro.

I have had my NS6 since it hit the stores and still hv not used it on a gig because it just won't work right.my mixtrack pro running Serato Dj Intro works better than my NS6. Just doesn't hv as much functionality. I'd much rather use a working NS6. Can someone please help me? Gilley119@yahoo.com

the sync on it is a bit weird and sometimes doesnt sync at all. just got it so it may be me. but traktors sync feels a lot better. the fx are beautiful and there is a limiter on the whole thing that makes your whole mix sound a lot tighter. i really like it! and its free. anyone know if they will have a record feature on it?

Thanks for the great vid! I've been using Virtual DJ LE and was never happy with it (latency, errors), but I actually stumbled on Serato Intro and I'm in love!!! My Mixdeck is 10x better and much more responsive!

I've been wanting itch and wanted to upgrade to NS7's.. But after Serato Intro, I'm actually happy with my setup again!

This should be free only for the one who own a serato license. Everybody knows that a controller is easier for carrying thats why i have one and i was sad to not be able to use it with my sl. But free??? And Sync???????? No way!

@pboirod311 intro is for begginers while itch and scratch live is for advanced or pro djs.

@detroit110 Our guess is just the controller themselves, vs. Scratch Live as a separate product to be used with the CDJ's and other components of your choice.
