the gold camo can be unlocked once you max out your level for a particular weapon. I believe the weapon max level is level 30. Once you hit level 30 with a certain gun, you get the gold camo. sounds awesome. It took FOREVER to get gold in black ops. hell, i still don't have it cause i'm only 11th prestige

The camos in black ops were very boring and ugly. They lacked sexyness and were mainly grey-ish , blue-ish and woodland-like camos. There weren't that many in MW2 but they were all great.

I personally liked the idea of COD points even though I am 10th 70 in mw2 and loved earning them. I would not have it with only 5 camos you unlock as you level/prestige but more like earn them but unlock 2 more that you have to buy. Almost like having the default weapons unlocked when you first prestige or start the game you get 1 camo and then like 2 that you can buy every so often. I loved the buying of weapons it put more of a challenge of earning money too.

i think that the MW2 camo system was better than black ops but people that are shit (me, my friends, my family) did find it difficult to get the really good camos. so in that way black ops had the edge, but black ops was just way too giving towards bad players.

hey, just letting you know they wont have the MW2 camos. They were just in the COD XP beta as a place holder for the new camos. The only confirmed camo is gold, which is unlocked by leveling your weapon to max level which is about 30
