First of all, that dude is god ugly. Second "NEW TOWN"??? WOW.
Second, I appreciate the walkability but good god, how boring are they making these new urbanist towns?
Let's step up the quality of detail. YES we should go back to the traditional model of building towns/cities, but these buildings are just as cookie cutter as the burbs.
I live here and was fed a line of BS from the start. Tim should have told you in this video that if you buy here you pay 1% of your homes value if you sell it (fine print of contract) or that you have to pay Tim 50.00 to put a plant in your front yard. Or the fact that your assesment will go up every year (it is now at $900.00) not counting the special NT TAX based on your SQ/Ft. The Bus. is runlike a sinking ship.
I strongly support new urbanism but the name of this town seriously sucks. I mean can't you figure out a better name than new town?
Second issue I have is often times design of houses often has to conform to uniform aesthetics over functionality. IE floorplans, window arrangements, privacy ect all prioritizes a style over the functions of that individual owner.
Awesome ,beautiful,would love to visit
