In His humanity God defeated satan and all his demans at Calvary. What appears on the surface to be weakness as Jesus shed his blood, died and gave up His Spirit to atone for the sins of His people was the mightiest thing that has every been done. So much of God's nature is reveled by studying the Gospel message and in one of the Peter books it says that these are the things that even the angels would like to understand.
But if you really want to know more about the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The first thing to do is to read his word and obey it as Jesus and the Father will reveal themselves to those who obey them. This is how we get to know God (obedience) and knowing God is eternal life. Jesus came into the world that we might know Him.
Prayer is also a great way too. Pray and believe that God will reveal this to you and He will.

@szygyify Most likely the reason he didn't talk about the deity of Yahweh in this one is because Jehovah Witnesses deny the deity of Christ, not that of Yahweh.
@Szygyify there are many who believe in Yahweh. Catholics, protestants, jews.....many. the one thing that must be addressed concerning Yahweh is what path to take to Him. if what Jesus said is true, that He is the only way, then that is the most important question to be asked and answered.

@Szygyify it's not really a question of does He need, it's He is. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all equally God. The three persons of the Godhead are all of one mind, and are all One. Jesus alluded to this quite a bit when He said many times that Him and the Father are One.

Because that would mean that his followers can also achieve deity status right?

Man can't, it's a temple and the temple can be destroyed. Matt 12:6 In this place is one greater than the temple. @GrrreatJtodd I read the King James Bible. I wasn't mixing up Jesus with John the Baptist. The Son of God came to Earth when the Spirit designee as a Dove like shape and anointed Jesus. That was the beginning of Jesus ministry and Jesus did no miracles till he was Baptized, Jesus gained his fame because the Son of God was within him. Also there are no capital letter on the word "son" till after his baptism. Why do so many ignore all these kind of scriptures? Jesus said I don't do the work.

Don't change "in the flesh" to "as the flesh" Don't change servant of God to being God. @MrTruthseeker91 Because he came down to Earth in the flesh. He took on human form, and thus accepted human frailties in order to be able to sympathise with us as intercessor. You see God can do all things. When we have glorified bodies in heaven we also will not be tempted anymore.

I believe the Bible is the revealed word and will of God and, in it's original texts' is inerrant and 100% true 100% of the time. I do not, however, believe in the " Holy Trinity" or the diety of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was the son of God. He was born sinless and remained sinless by walking perfectly with God.

I have found it useful to ask the false ones (whatever their affiliation) about their testimony of when they met Jesus and what He did to and for them. This either disperses them or causes the soul whose heart has not hardened to begin asking questions, although the senior goat usually pulls them away. But the Seed has been sown. Then I ask the Lord to continue to water them.

If you read the gospel of John you see that Jesus is the Word of God. In the beginning was the Word the Word was with God and the Word was God. 1 Timothy 3:16 Say that without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh...
the book of Isiah has a prophecy pointing to Christ saying we will look upon Him who was pierced. And in Zechariah 12:10 (King James) Yehweh or God of the old testament says they will look upon me whom they pierced.

other bad translations will just say something like he appeared in human form which is obviously watered down a lot. Also the Zechariah 12,10 from the King James is very plain too but not so in other translations.

In His humanity God defeated satan and all his demans at Calvary. What appears on the surface to be weakness as Jesus shed his blood, died and gave up His Spirit to atone for the sins of His people was the mightiest thing that has every been done. So much of God's nature is reveled by studying the Gospel message and in one of the Peter books it says that these are the things that even the angels would like to understand.
We will be marveling at Calvary for eternity.

This is how we get to know God (obedience) and knowing God is eternal life. Jesus came into the world that we might know Him.

@Szygyify it's not really a question of does He need, it's He is. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all equally God. The three persons of the Godhead are all of one mind, and are all One. Jesus alluded to this quite a bit when He said many times that Him and the Father are One.

Immedaitely before John 12:41 John quotes from Isaiah 6.
Isaiah did not see the Father, Isaiah saw the Son confirmed by John.
In John 12:40-41 there is no contradiction.

However I read it a little different. as you said God must have begot a Son of Spirit (in the same likeness not as man begot a son) and that Spirit dwelt in a body called Jesus after the baptism(this is my beloved Son- I am well pleased). Man can't, it's a temple and the temple can be destroyed. Matt 12:6 In this place is one greater than the temple. The body of Jesus was 100% worldly, the Christ Spirit dwelt 100% within the body, In the name of the Father or nature of the Father. But God came "IN" the flesh, not as flesh, and came in the likeness of sinful flesh, but still not as flesh. (God Spirit begot Son Spirit) The Trinity is the Father God, the Son(not Jesus but Emmanuel) and the holy Ghost. All three are Spirit.

The Son of God is a Spirit not a body. The body is the place where the Spirit resides. To worship the body of Jesus is to worship a graven image, a facsimile representing the Son of God. @GrrreatJtodd I read the King James Bible. I wasn't mixing up Jesus with John the Baptist. The Son of God came to Earth when the Spirit designee as a Dove like shape and anointed Jesus. That was the beginning of Jesus ministry and Jesus did no miracles till he was Baptized, Jesus gained his fame because the Son of God was within him. Also there are no capital letter on the word "son" till after his baptism. Why do so many ignore all these kind of scriptures? Jesus said I don't do the work.

Don't change "in the flesh" to "as the flesh" Don't change servant of God to being God. When the Spirit descended on Jesus don't think God was talking about Jesus, when he said, this is my beloved Son in whom I am pleased, He was talking about the Spirit descending. God is Spirit.

Just like all other Christians! But still, they said, Jesus Christ is not God! Actually, I shouldn't care at all! @MrTruthseeker91 Because he came down to Earth in the flesh. He took on human form, and thus accepted human frailties in order to be able to sympathise with us as intercessor. You see God can do all things. When we have glorified bodies in heaven we also will not be tempted anymore.

I'm a non denominational follower of Christ,I currently attend an evangelical missionary church but, if they quit preaching the cross that's when I'm gone down the road. The Jehova's Witness believes that the evangelical is part of the lie of the satanic world system. He always puts himself at a lower level than God our Father. Can anyone disprove what I just said Scripturally? I don't believe the Scriptures teach the trinity, nor does it make any type of sense. The entire trinity idea originated from paganism.. The Lord has changed my life and I'm a fan of Paul Washer but I disagree with the "trinity"

@MrTruthseeker91 I'm not a jehovah witness. I'm a regular believer, some would call it Christian but that term has many meanings in today's age. I believe the Bible is the revealed word and will of God and, in it's original texts' is inerrant and 100% true 100% of the time. I do not, however, believe in the " Holy Trinity" or the diety of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was the son of God. He was born sinless and remained sinless by walking perfectly with God.

Why not display the love of Christ and the Holy Spirit that lives in you! Showing compassion, gentleness, and love for they are lost. We should be the light of the word and attract lost souls. Not repel people who are lost by tumping them with the truth!

@Arainion oh really and what 'public' place was this?they dont voice themselves in public(or i should clarify that by the 'righteous ones' don't,they along with other followers of the bibles teachings cannot be considered true just because they claim so) i have told a few witnesses 'politely' to leave my property as im not in mood etc...and never have i had one refuse to go as so many claim.they are hated because they refuse to give away their beliefs such as not singing anthems & saluting etc
