Alot easier way to get high speachcraft for free is go to the black briar-meadery and ask the bar tender about maven. Then persuade him to tell the truth and keep doing it over and over again. You do need like 30 speach though but you can buy a potion to boost your speachcraft 20+ for 60 seconds and thats enough. I got to level 70 in 5 mins

I would make daggers, enchant all of them with magicka damage (petty soul gem), then each dagger would be worth around 200 gold. Enchanting, Smithing and Speech would all be increased and when you have enchanted them all, they appear as individual items so you dont need to keep choosing 1 instead of sell all.

@leandrasin yo dude, i don't know what system or console you use so i dont know what buttons it would be for you specifically.. but go into 3rd person view, hold the 1st/3rd person button down and use the movement controls forward or backward to set your distance.

@LionsDenJJ if you sell a group of items all at once you only get a skill increase equal to if you only sold one. For example: I sell 1000 iron daggers, got 1 exp. I sold 1000 daggers, 1 at a time, i got 1000 exp.

This works great on my smithing by doing exactly what your doing but my speech only went up half a level after selling each dagger individually. I sold over a hundred and my speech is still a 24. What am I doing wrong? I don't care about my smithing except that it gives me XP I want my speech to be thru the roof. I don't see what I'm doing wrong any advice?

Power-leveling made the game not as fun for me. Most of the skills you can level up just by playing but for smithing, enchanting and alchemy you won't be able to get to like +60 (random number) if you don't make useless stuff.

I also have a question: are there items you can find that are more powerful (after you improve them) than the ones you can craft?

@pds0303 if you sell multiple items at a time like 10 or more of the same item and it says how many do you want to sell, if you sell them all it only gives you as much speech xp as if you were to sell 1. so selling 1 by 1 gives more speech xp.

another good way to bring smithing up is to buy/hunt leather and just make leather bracers and selling them its a little cheaper and the skill increase is the same.

To get speech to 100 in about 40 mins max, travel to Riften and go to black-briar meadery, once inside speak to Ungrien and ask him “tell me about maven black-briar” then choose “come on, get the truth off your chest” (persuade) you can then simply keep tapping A until you reach level 100! You need a minimum of level 25 for the persuade to work if you want to use this technique. If you don’t have level 25 yet you have to pay him the 21 gold.
