With 90% of movie trailers now, you watch them and can usually guess the plot of the movie and have multiple guesses as to how it will end.

You know a movie will be good if the trailer doesn't show that and you don't know what'll happen.

You know a movie is going to be great if the trailer doesn't even show any part of the real movie haha.

that's a poor way of looking at it, IMO.

there's no way that the film (or almost any film), could be as consistently funny as the carefully-constructed, 90-second trailer. but if you appreciate more than just a quick laugh, "comedian" had much to tell. mainstream films exploring the inside of the comedy industry are relatively rare, and no matter how hit-or-miss their humor, usually have a number of insights to provide, intentional or unintentional as they might be.

sounds like aliasing, maybe, caused by poor compression. i can't find the original on itunes, but there's one with better audio on the imdb page for the movie.

Just disappointing, because I remember seeing this on itunes back in the day and it was so impressive and awe-inspiring to hear his voice so crisp and authoritative. Course, I was an audio engineer at the time, so I dealt with voiceover recording quite a bit.
