8800GT 800Mhz Crysis heavy for loading map level

Bios volt modded ASUS 8800GT 512MB @ 740 core 1850 shader 1055 memory

have 9600gt too and i overclock it extreme speed i have GIGABYTE GF 9600GT 256BIT DD3 512VRAM clock speed 625 (overclock to 760) memory clock 1800 (overcloked to 2240)shaders 1625 (overcloaked to 2020) and is working very well i tryed the 800 core clock but after half hour card stops working so 780 is working good but for safety i turned 760 ant no errors at all all 2 months with this speed it beats 8800gt , 8800gts320mb\640mb ,gf 8800gts 512mb easily

Gainward is made by palit and gainward is hard to fin in the US, so I settled for palit (it's the same, but withy bright colored heatsinks, whereas gaiward is black.) I can get my Palit 8800gt 1gb sonic edition to 750/1900/2100. It seems that the shaders matter more than you'd expect if it comes between shaders and core speed in crysis, go for higher shaders in dx10.

I just bought Gainward 8800GT with dual slot cooler which keeps at 50% fan at 60°c @ 821/1050 :)

800 shaders 2050 and i have got crapy ram "not SAMSUNG" so cant get any more than standard. and all this runs at 43C

ive used heaps of mods on crysis in dx9 to make it look like dx10 and it runs 40fps average 1680x1050! and it looks identical to dx10 very high! thats on my xfx 8800gt stock aswell

To go with core 2 Duo you must change your motherboard and the same with AMD.

should grab a q6600, its a quad core, but extreamly cheap now, i made the mistake and getting a duo core instead of a quad...so

I had to work on the cooling system an on the volatage. The problem was that G92GPU's have 1.1V default on the core. That was not enough to push the card higher than 7150Mhz so I had to do a V-Mod that allows me to get 1.3 on the core now I can push the card to 810MHz.

why didn't you put it on ultra high? were you on xp? im guessing thats why.

no I am not in XP. In XP I will get 60FPS with the same settings . I an in vista 64.

Ye usually I play on very high but it drops my framerate to 17 average. But if I will use 1280x1024 I will get 40 FPS on all very high.
