Somebody either is or isn't the sports personality of the year regardless of whether they'll get another chance. Sorry if that argument doesn't come across clearly because of my limited education.Focus for 4 years or more! That's astonishing! The British public decides. That makes me feel much more reassured.Just think how you'll feel if you ever get treated so unjustly.Don't think it can never happen to you.
The song is called Kids by mgmt, and tbh anybody that doubted chris hoy was going to beat Hamiliton is on dream street. The F1 world championship runs every year the olympics is only every 4. Regardless of whether or not people care about cycling this guy isn't gonna get another chance at this as opposed to hamiliton who is gonna be a favourite every year for the next decade
Educate yourself! The result is decided by the british public not the BBC. There was nothing racist about the decision, it was based on Chris's achievment. You don't have to watch telly to follow the olympics, you never heard of print or radio media? For those more educated than you we realise the olympics is not just two weeks out of the year (not one as you suggest and for those competing it is the complete focus of their lives for four years or more!!!
Glad I didn't watch it. Another example of why the licence fee should be abolished. If it had been Damon Hill, David Coutlthard or Jenson Button who were the youngest ever F1 champions would they have been runners up?BBC makes me sick. No disrespect but I've never heard of Chris Hoy till today. Summer is for going out in the fresh air, not being glued to TV 24 hours a day watching Olympics.
Your two comments are way over the top. People vote for the best sportsperson not for what colour/race they are. For Chris to win an olympic gold is an achievement in itself, to win 3 is amazing and he is fully deserving of the BBC sport personality of the year award.
Chris deserved it - I am an F1 fan but Lewis does not give a $h!t£ for GB - it's a shame but he comes across as me,me,me type of person and needs to work on his pr skills...
If Britain is not good enough for Hamilton, he is not good enough to have this award. He is a tax dodger hiding in Switzerland. Tax revenue is important to youth projects especially those for the underprivileged. If stories told of his fathers hardship in realising his ambition are true, he should know what being underprivileged means. Forgetting his root makes him a bad role model to his young fans who are looking up to him. In this respect, Hamilton is not a success story.

Some of you have never heard of Chris Hoy. That's fair - you probably don't know where Scotland is either. That's not your fault.

Maybe they don't know the difference between a week and a year either. Sick of beating about about the bush. Racists. I'm sick of you.

chris hoy deserves it most although lewis will win, christine ohuruogu should not even be in there being banned

She was banned for missing tests, there's no proof she cheated so I don't see why she shouldn't be applauded for her achievements.
