@tillyboos Really? like every other Diva, I'll actually give you that since there are very few and only come around every 5-10 years. To be compared to the likes of pre drug use whitney, mariah, beyonce is a compliment. Whitney is about 50, mariah is 40 and beyonce is early 30's now the new one has arrived on the scene at the tender age of 19. This is god given talent without any ifs ands or buts. I think her album will surprise everyone! I see a long and admirable career in her future!

But, Melanie does have a unique voice, I believe her tone is much richer than most of those mentions. It's more subtle - similiar to Anita Baker. She will make her mark on this industry -and she is only 19 years old. I am so excited for the start of this new generation of diva's

Melanie is a lot closer to her grandma than her own parents because she cried the most when she saw her grandma. I think her grandma was the one who looked after her when she was young in Virgin Islands.
