This is not d&b. In the begining, the rave music (and then jungle and d&b) was the opposition to pop/rock. Each music must me "stupidised" to become the mainstream and this is a good exaple. More people = more money. There's no any progress except the financial one. There are many good d&b producers out there, like Dom & Roland, Dissident, Pieter K etc, which sometimes are combining musical experiments with d&b. This is a different story. So listen to it but don't call it DRUM AND BASS. Thanks.

i'd hardly consider chart success to be an accurate measure of how good a band are. i've been into pendulum since i heard "masochist" back in 2004, but I think they've gone really downhill with this new style compared to their early singles and first album. As for the live show, I was dissappointed with the last uk tour, was pretty average at best...want to see how live dnb should be done check out KJ Sawka, and he does it solo.

This Is Pendulum! This Is The Shit! I'm so glad they didnt do a repeat of their first album which so many people seem to want them to do. I mean I loved "Hold Your Colour" but all great bands change what they sound like somewhere along the track (radiohead, the beatles, muse, pink floyd) pendulum just started changing a bit earlier thats all. But there is no denying this sounds awesome. Ive seen them live once and their new track was blood sugar (pretty average)i cant wait to see this live.
