avenger007007 -Wrote H3 aint rockin shit with a V6. I thought they were in line 5's like the Chevy Colorado that they are based off the frame of ?...But you don't need a big V-8 for the rocks , but are fun ...I bet the H-3 for it's power to weight ratio is comparable power to weight wise to an older H-1 with a N/A diesel at about 185 HP and maybe around 400lb ft .
the hummer h3 dose indeed have a inline 5 lots of torque, but now the 2008 h3 has the option of the 5.3L sierra/silverado v8 the h3 much like the h2 only only shares some of the steering components of the tahoe or the colarado. they both have there own styled frame, and suspension.
the h1 has lockers give the rover them and me in the seat god lol lockers = go anywhere annd as for best 4x4 landrover and hummer i would say the best i was just joking but camel throphy is were its at
Wrong. The '95 H1 in these videos has no lockers installed, it has stock Torsen T1 diffs (requires brake-throttle modulation to maintain traction.) The D-90 in that video response has ARB lockers installed in both the front and rear.
all that shows is the difference of lwb vs swb, oh and the fact the hummer has lower pressure in the tires. horses for course. there are times when the hummers extra length is a problem as shown on many vids on youtube
@burton76 No offense but I have hard time to find 'many vids' on YT where H1 length is a problem. In fact I have hard time to find any. Even with rather LWB it's brakeover angle easily compatible to literally all smaller 4x4 (stock of course).
I respect all capable 4x4's, and Land Rover makes some of them. But how much driving have you done in H1s to compare the two? I drive a lot in both (I currently own a Rover and the Hummer) -- each has its own pros and cons, but there is no question that with a good driver the Hummer is better in most offroad situations. Check out the "video response" above for one example.
Completely. The CTIS line got ripped off on a rock, it is running on the rubber runflat. Got through the whole trail on it before we swapped on the spare at the top section after the water hole.
Cool nice to see something other than a Jeep getting out there. Keep it up and hope to see you out there one day.

We ran from Loon to Tahoma the first week of October. Such a great trail. We took 5 H2's, 2 H3's and a Nissan Crapterra(with a locker) through.
I was being sarcastic about the finesse comment.

I was being sarcastic about your truck being "fancy" too! *lol* My sister drives an Xterra you elitist bastard :D

Cool rig, but you need some wheeling finesse - unless you hate your rig, that is. :D Sucks that Paragon is getting shut down.
