To clarify some things, this was a 90 Jeep Cherokee, STOCK motor, STOCK everything (other than a 3" lift with 31's) It is a stock header, stock down pipe, stock cat, then it goes into flowmaster 40 series, with DUAL outlets, into 3 1/2 inch tips. and thank you so fucking much @FixFalcon, for correcting my 3 year old spelling mistake! You can purchase a header that is split so 3 cylinders exit per collector. Reduces heat build up that is a common failure to most stock and aftermarket headers for the 4.0. Run it dual from there or y it back into single exhaust. Which ever fancies yourself.

Actually I have a 95 5.2L v8 with 150K on car and 100K on Engine, still rides fine. But im still focused on the fact that this is(flowmasters) a waste of money.
PaintFutbolStrike, a lesson to you. What is 130,000 miles? That is nothing for these jeeps. As far as most are concerned its just getting broken in. I have 4 jeeps and each one is over 130k. In fact I have a 97 ZJ with 210k with no rebuilds or any major repairs. Just basic maintenance and a radiator. I know people pushing 300k with no rebuilds or major repairs. I think you need to study your shit before you speak. Todays vehicles are far better built then vehicles of old.

Its not true duels. Two outlets one inlet. You cant have true duels on a strait 6 cylinder unless you had split manifolds witch was like two manifolds 3 ports on each manifold.

yea a 40 series delta with 2.25 inlet and 2.5 dual outlet.. stock cat.. but i would suggest getting a high flow cat and headers while your at it i wish i would have

yea a 40 series delta with 2.25 inlet and 2.5 dual outlet.. stock cat.. but i would suggest getting a high flow cat and headers while your at it i wish i would have

Why swapp in a V8 when that straight 6 rulles for offroad and on road purposes i wouldnt put in a v8 if they were putting it for free for my straight 6 i have both kinds the straight 6 and my girl has the newer v8 she cant do nothing with her jeep that i cant do with mine exept have a little more money for the gas since the prices are jumping people are getting rid of v8's like there is no tommorrow lol.

yea pretty much all pre-97 jeeps start like that. and yea its a cat-back the flowmaster is duel outlet and it was $80 and it was like $250 to get custom bent pipes.

it startes like that cause the computer has to see 300 rpm's before it will let the engine fire.
