Anti religious agnostic here, I love this band. Who cares about lyrics? This music is great, as is all the other stuff I've heard from them. Great band. Also the whole satanism thing and general black metal scene is just silly and ridiculous, cool to see a band from that scene with a positive message and more importantly write great music and not 2 riffs and blast beats for 6 minutes
Antestor formed in 1990 in Norway. They released two demos early in their career, and in 1994 they recorded their debut album, Martyrium. They dubbed the style of their early work as "sorrow metal" rather than as black metal, because they mourned the fact that most of Scandinavia's extreme metal subculture was deeply involved in Satanism.
Interesting points you are trying to make here. I find it baseless when the satanic bands are as intolerant as they claim Christianity to be. You have a choice if you don't like it DON'T listen to it. If you want to serve a pathetic weak little creature that couldn;t even hold his position in heaven knock yourself out or better yet take your complaints to Dimmu Burger or Gorgosuck and see if they care

Listen to their older stuff because I was talking about the band in general not the song which I think can be called some thing like "ALMOST black metal." Obviously the content of the lyrics keeps it from becoming black metal. In my fair opinion I think this band can go suck a muslim...

Dont give a shit about lyrics, I hate most black metal because its just terrible.
However from what I heard this album is quite progressive. black metal at times, but intertwined with much calmer and mellow. Really cool.

The band itself is a contradiction to what the music movement involves.
