  • that's kind of a beast push press, mezzie.

where's your 3-rep overhead press at these days?

  • @adoboandryce Thanks Wilmar :) I'm approaching my old PR of 93 kg (204 lbs), but haven't quite gotten back there yet! Due to ongoing shoulder issues, I haven't been either pressing or jerking regularly for months now. For some reason, push presses hurt the least of those 3, so that's what I've been focusing on. The 50 I'm tripling in this video is the most I've tried pressing for ages. My old pressing record was 67kg (148lbs) for a single and 62kg (135 lbs) for a double. Don't know about 3 :)

  • nice front squats and 88kg push press. was wondering why the bag was swinging but now i know why. lol.

  • @boykid28 Ha! Thanks :)

  • Good presses and great front squat keep training hard. Do you snatch and clean and jerk?

  • @Randleman2 Thanks for the comment! I've been dealing with a shoulder issue for the past several months, so I haven't been snatching or jerking much. I still clean often though :) See my other vids! There are tons of snatch and C+J vids from the past.

  • You're doing karate in between sets aren't you? I can tell, don't lie to me.

    P.S. Good workout. :)

  • @hazard52003 Hahahaha you clearly noticed the sometimes-swinging bag in the background there ;) It's actually only good for straight punching, and I'd do a few combinations to stay warm and amped up between sets. Kicks and anything from an angle send the thing flying in all directions. I should really hang it from a beam in the ceiling, but I'm not very handy...

    PS Thanks :)
