  • Little does this poor man in the film know, that alberto contador was probably filled with dope to go as fast as the mechanical bike next to him. LOL

  • I've been there also. Came all the way from Brazil to see the Tour de France. As a amateur cycling man and big fan of cycling it was a dream coming true. Never seen so many bikes in one place as i've seen this day in Verbier. Such a beautiful place. Me and my girl followed the tour from Colmar to Paris, we've seen all mountains stages. Great experience which i'll never forget. Not a day goes by i don't catch myself thinking of those places i've visited.

  • @embraerss More power to ya man! The individuals who compete in these events are superhuman, and the Tour De France (in my opinion) is the toughest athletic event in the world. Just to compete in it is a dream come true.

  • I've also been there it was just huge. I stood 25m before the finish line. It's just an incredible experience. Everybody should do that sometimes.

  • must have been a great experience!

  • This is terrific eh?

The funniest thing about the the big tours - is the incredible excitement you feel when the helicopters arrive just ahead of the riders - here's this huge machine beating out tempo's and then the one rider suddenly appears on the road just completely upstaging the power of the machine. Alberto Contador undoubtedly provided the ultimate in power on this climb up Verbier! And he's just a guy on a bicycle!

Nice job Mr and Mrs RCMP

  • nicely put, railman55, nicely put. couldn't have said it better
