  • How to disable the always present left click on bamboo pen ?

I want to use it as mouse alternative and touching the surface, dragging the pen it selects all things passing under it ....

    Thanks in advance

  • I just ordered like literally 10 seconds ago! :D

  • I have a question; I was on the Wacom website, and as you'd know, there is a Wacom Bamboo Pen, and the Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch. If you order the Wacom Bamboo Pen, is it just the pen or is it a tablet and pen where you can only use the pen and not use it as a mouse? I got a little confused, I want to know before I order!

  • @foreverlovetied The bamboo pen does not have touch capabilities. It come with a pen and tablet. It can be used as a mouse.

  • @JawnMercernary Okay thank you~

  • If you lose the pen, can you get a replacement?

  • Thanks for the video. I've ordered this already and it will be my first tablet. It's got a lot of good feedback and although I'd like the eraser and buttons on the tablet, this will be a good beginner's tablet.

~$55 is a very good price for a cheap model from a quality brand.

  • approximately 15.2cmx9.3cm

  • @JawnMercernary does the wacom bamboo pen come with any free softwares such as photoshop elements????? PLEASE ANSWER THANKS

  • hey man what is the dimension of the drawing space(white box)? plzz reply

  • Hey dude, just wondering if you can help me out, can you use any wacom pen on any wacom tablet?. I have a Wacom Graphire4 Tablet and pen, but the pen is fucked and i cant find a replacement of that exact pen, would it be safe for me to get a Bamboo pen?

  • I got my Bamboo Pen for 100 dollars :p WAcom's most expensive tablet is 2000 dollars only cuz Wacom is the best tablet in existence

  • DUDE STOP DONT HIT IT LIKE THAT!! U ARE STUPED

  • @JOSHUAXXX1000 ROFL either this was a joke i didn't get or you are a very very bad speller, it's spelled Stupid...

  • The pen doesn't have a eraser? Aren't they suppose to have a eraser on top of the pen?

  • @nancyX28 Most do, but not this one because it's the cheapest and simplest one they have.

  • It's very well explained. Good job, sir. I would like to know more about how you woulf use it as a mouse replacement, if that's possible. Thanks.

  • Thanks! This was helpful!

  • @riddlish Right back at you good sir, but just because anyone can make a video does not mean they do.

I do think, however, that my videos are getting better and better.

    Thanks for watching.

  • @riddlish You want THIS guy to stop wasting youtube space? And what is it that you're doing here...?

  • @riddlish You're a twat.

  • @thenewgeogzm sorry .. i didnt know this boys is ur nephew ..

  • @riddlish i'm so edgy...i use multiple dots.....

  • @thenewgeogzm hey tell ur nephew make a video and upload , how to boil an egg? ...hahahah

  • @riddlish why are you fixated on this guy being my nephew

    he isn't my nephew

    you are a dick

    enjoy dickdom

  • when u say u didn`t have the eraser-- what can u do with the eraser?

i`m planning on getting a tablet.

  • @GabrieOhGabrie The eraser can only be used with compatible software like photoshop. It is used to erase. For my usage, I don't need the eraser.

  • hey i was wondering if i had a picture i drew in pencil on paper and then scanned it to my computer and wanted to color it in and trace the outline of it in computer paint, would bamboo be good to color the fine lines of the picture. im trying to use my mouse right now and its all squiggly. is it possible to draw over a picture on your computer with this?

  • since you have both bamboo pen and touch AND bamboo pen, there is a question i want to ask: can you use pen of bamboo pen and touch on bamboo pen?' or rather can you use the eraser feature of the pen ( of bamboo pen and touch) on bamboo pen only`s board?

  • @pesapaisa the pen works on both, but the eraser does not.

  • A little question. What is the siza? is is A5 or A6 ? ^^

  • I just got mine today and so far it is amazing. :) I really love this tablet!

  • can I ask you a question please?

I have the pad with the pen but my mom took it from a place to another anyway

the tip of the pen, I found it not perfectly rounded, I dont know how to properly explain it but am afraid that my mom knocked it on something so can you please just describe the tip of the pen (the thin tip) for me pleaaaaaaaaaaase???????????????????????

  • @85zsam85 I believe the tip of the pen was perfectly rounded when it was new. However, after some use, the tip does wear down. There should be two extra tips (known as nibs) that came in the box. You can replace the broken nib with new ones. Search "nib wacom" on youtube for instructions.

  • what's the sensivity of bamboo pen ?

  • Can you use the end of the pen as an eraser?

  • @AcidicAnnaliis not on the "Pen" Model

  • Which tablet would you recommend most for sketching graphic designs? Please reply!!

  • You remaid me of my physics teacher... He's cool and stuff but i don't really get the point of what he's saying. >^^<

  • @RayYuka lol

  • wats with the button also and how big is the bamboo pen tablet comparing to bamboo pen and touch?

  • @nhiluu97 Buttons can be programmed to do anything you want. For instance, my top button is used for "right click"

    Same size.

  • Is this better than the pen and touch in any way? And do u ever find it's not big enough/ have problems with the size?

  • @TheHybrid96 Pen and touch has more points of input (greater input resolution) which is helpful for larger monitors like a 27" iMac. it's large enough for a 13-15" laptop.

  • WAIT, so when i rest my hand on it to draw/write, it won't malfunction or anything like SMART products, right?

  • @Txurniul yes

  • @JawnMercernary yes that it won't or yes that it will?

  • @Txurniul When the pen is close to the tablet, the finger input gets turned off.

  • @JawnMercernary ok then. i'm buyin' it

  • @Txurniul Just making sure your getting the pen and touch.

  • Difficult to use. I can draw better with a computer mouse. It does "erase" rub out when you turn the pen upside down I find it too difficult to use in Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3. I'm so frustrated with this Bamboo pen. To make it function properly you have to download "Bamboo Dock" from their website and they try to make you register at the same time. The download makes the pen work better but it is still too frustrating to use. That's all I have to say.

  • Ok thank you

  • Does the bamboo pen & touch have Photoshop?

  • @FghjklioMisty Yes, mine came with photoshop elements

  • My WACOM is an ass. it writes when it is not touching the tablet surface. wacom sucks tranny dick if you ask me.

  • Wockom? It -W-A-C-O-M- YOU FUCKING RETARDED ASS!

  • the pen for the Bamboo Pen Tablet doesn't have an eraser?

  • @beatlesbabe155 The bamboo pen does not have an eraser

  • @JawnMercernary dangit

  • I have a question, is this the right tablet to buy if I'm interested in drawing and illustrating manga? I want to be sure so I don't make the wrong purchase.

  • @lumpycereal I would suggest the Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch. The shortcut buttons and has more points that the tablet can track. So your images will be more precise.

If you've been drawing manga for a while I would invest in a higher-end wacom.

  • @lumpycereal

actually the best one is the Bamboo fun, it has the largest drawing space and comes with a good load of nice illustration software :)

  • I just bought this and found your review helpful in my choice. I plan to use it in a similar way that you do; notes, chemical and math equations, and structure illustration. I've found that for writing it isn't very accurate, and if I use iwork's pages for writing I can't write my equations so I was wondering which software you use for this, or do you send it from ink? (both the writing notes and equations)

  • @tensainobaka I do calculations in ink and send it.

Check out "Circus Ponies Notebook" application. I think it lets you do the pen input over the "page." So you can circle a relevant word, or even add equations on the margins.

It takes a while to learn how to use the software. I suggest giving yourself some time to get to know it. There's a free month trial on their website.

  • @JawnMercernary

Thanks for the info and suggestion, I'll check it out.

  • wahh your bamboo expensiveee mine is on 69 dollars in america

  • nibs LOL. that word is funny.

    i want one of these.

  • Does the pen tip wear out in some way or why is there different replaceable pen tips?

  • @Kasparovia yes it wears out over time.

  • @JawnMercernary That doesn't sound too good.. How come it wears out, how often does one tip wear out and how much does it cost to change them each time?

I don't see how a "digital pen" can wear out..

  • @Kasparovia It wears out because you have to physically touch the pen on the pad when you "click." The ammount of wear depends on how heavy you use it. For a cassual user like myself. I think it will take a year to wear out. And with the extra two tips, I think it will be a while until mine wears out.

  • @JawnMercernary Oh, well that doesn't sound especially bad. Does it come with two extra tips as you buy the Wacom Bamboo Pen Small?

  • u know i was watching drawing videos and i read the comments and it keeps talking about pen tablets and i checked it out on best buy staples and stuff like that and wow they are expensive :o

  • i bought it in 150 $ :-/

  • i lost my pen, now its fuckiing useless

  • @TheMysticalGrape

well, if you're looking to buy a new pen, you can find it on the wacom website

  • @TheMysticalGrape

    buy a new pen :P

  • Comment removed

  • I have bought a bamboo pen but l can't find artrage please help.

  • @orogu11 I would asume you meant the extra pen tips.

Check the box thoroughly. It's a miniscule piece of plastic with two small tips in it. I didn't even know that they were replacements until further research.

  • @JawnMercernary No i have found the pen tips i just want to know if you got the software artrage .. Like did it come with your bamboo pen. Because i've bought bamboo pen but i can't find artrage.

  • @orogu11 Hmm, I checked the wacom website and it says the only software that comes with the "pen" is Corel Painter Esentials 4. I checked my box, and yes it has the corel painter.

    The "pen and touch" comes with Adobe® Photoshop® Elements 7.0 Win/6.0 Mac and Nik® Color Efex Pro™ 3.0 WE3

  • @JawnMercernary Where in the box did you find corel painter?

  • @orogu11 there were two cds. One for drivers and the other for software.

  • @JawnMercernary I know that it was now iäve looked around on youtube. But i don't know if i got 2 cd's.. I'm gonna search for the other cd if i have one. Thanks for all your help ^^

  • Grrr...

I want one sooo bad D:

Trying to save my money but just spent $20 on books today ^^ aha

Needa save to 65 then i can get it [:

  • does only the Bamboo pen and touch come with an eraser on the pen?

  • @RageRunner22 I believe that the Bamboo pen and touch come with an eraser on the pen.

  • hey, did you install the Corel® Painter™ Essentials 4 software?

    any fees applied to you?

  • @ImCrazier No, I did not install.

  • I just ordered this yesterday for 58€ . I just have to wait over the weekend...

  • 60 euro's

  • mine arrives tomorrow (very excited)

  • Dude like can we use it to trace stuff to my pc. say that i have a map of a country on a paper and i place it over the bamboo and draw over it. would that trace the pic.,or some notes and stuff to my pc?(i don't have one of these but hope to buy one so i wanted to know). THNX

  • @gakg101 I tried using the pen on top of paper, and it worked. The mouse tracks and "clicks"

  • @gakg101 Well, not really. The tablet senses the pen through the paper, but the picture that you're tracing will be HUGE. trust me.

  • haha, he sounds like Ray Romano :D :D now I really want it!

  • @CrouchingKenny he so does!

  • Hey, thanks for the vid. It's good to see someone other than an artist review this as I am a college student as well (studying engineering). You said that it works well for taking notes; would you say the pen and touch is worth paying extra just for the eraser and the extra buttons, or are those extra functions unjustifiably too expensive or not useful for a student like me? Thanks.

  • I HAD GOTTEN IT!

  • Im selling one for around 80-70$ if anyone wants one (GOOD condition)

  • so these tablets are just like using your mouse, but just with a pen? So, it's also useable in programs such a paint, and photoshop kind of programs?

I'd like to know, since i'd like to make some cinematic drawings of my idea, but i don't want to get hooked up with some kind of crappy art program that comes with it

  • @nazguluzan Yes, you would use this pen as a replacement for your mouse. When the pen touches the surface, it's considered a left click. You navigate by hovering the pen about a centimeter from the surface. It is also pressure sensitive, meaning that harder you push on your pen the thicker the line becomes. Your software must support pressure sensitivity for this feature to work.

If you are going to start drawing, get the pen and touch because it comes free with basic photoshop.

  • @JawnMercernary well i'd rather just have the pen, since i already have good photoshop programmes, and when buying touch i'm quite affraid it makes me unable to have me hand ON the tabled while drawing, because it will also use my hand as pinpoint then.

  • @nazguluzan In that case. Yes, a bamboo pen would suit you. As for accidentally touching the pad with your hand, touch is disabled when the pen is near the device, and turns back on when you put the pen down.

  • @JawnMercernary Do you know, do the size of the tablet (the active writing part of it) diffrend between the Bamboo pen, and the Bamboo pen & touch? or do they have the same size?

  • @nazguluzan I recall them having the same writing area.

  • i hav a problem with my wacom bamboo tablet, and idk wats rong: when i used my tablet, the pen didnt work( didnt move with the cursor)! but when i used my finger, it did work. WHATS RONG HERE? du i need a new pen?:O

  • @fireheartfan101 Hmm, I assume that you have the pen and touch, and not just the touch. As basic troubleshooting goes, I would try the following. One at a time.

    -Unplug and re-plug your device

    -restart your computer

-make sure you have the bamboo driver installed (the CD came with the box)

-make sure your OS and the Bamboo driver is up to date

    -uninstall and re-install the driver

  • How much did it cost?

  • it was around $100 for the pen alone and $130 for the pen and touch.

  • It's now $69 for the pen

  • @ApplePanda94 Actually at staples the Pen is now $49.99

  • @dubefest WTF mine costed 130$ at future shop =(

  • i bet it had one of those sticky plastic protection covers and u didnt realise

  • maybe, but that I haven't found it yet.

  • LOL @ the Bubble thing.

    Good review.

  • Um

    Left and right fail???

xD Kidding, thanks for the review, 5/5.
