here are what some people want to be done and what they think would aid the "green" movement:

it can be stunted by careless, greedy people and institutions but going beyond that, being the bigger person, Heinz Ketchup would have much much more support, income, and overall success. We need to all grow passed our fears and reservations, it will lead to much better things.

There are many people who wish to gain insight as to HOW TO recycle these packets of condiments or to even FIND OUT if they are recyclable...and WHY they are not-- but they seem to get no where.

  • PT5

really it is just carelessness on everyone's part...but that's Heinz's definition of an "easier life". I believe Heinz should be a proactive leader and role model for many companies who DO NOT use recyclable and/or recycled materials and who DO NOT think effectively or about conservation. Let's just be smart with our resources and smart about our home. Again, I understand this is not many people's main priority but evolving can't be stopped..

  • it needs to be common knowledge for everyone. Rinsing and recycling should become as automatic as throwing it in the garbage or littering.

I understand that the environment, for some reason, is not everyone's main concern...however, it is not smart. It's obvious why so I will not lecture here, but it is known and not admitted by all. The old packets made of plastic/aluminum and these new dip'n'squeeze pakets get tossed millions of times a day into the garbage, onto the ground, into plants...

in response to this NON recyclable item.....that's just laughable and yet it makes me want to cry it is so primitive. I will no longer be purchasing Heinz products and I will spread the word as well. I will meditate on taking action if Heinz does nothing in response to this message.

If the older plastic/aluminum ketchup packets are recyclable I do think that a "RINSE AND RECYCLE" notice should be put on the condiments... this needs to be more prominent knowledge..

I'm concerned with the condiment packets as seen in countless fast food chains around the United States and undoubtedly the world. I like the new dip and squeeze design but ....IF IT IS TRUE that a HEINZ KETCHUP representative said:

"we continue to explore ways to make (their) packaging more SUSTAINABLE. As a company, we are committed to SUSTAINABLE initiatives and are always looking to provide consumers with innovative solutions that make their lives EASIER."

  • PT 1 message to Heinz:

    Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to read this message. A response would be much obliged. (example as to what bad service/communication is: I emailed yahoo about a problem thousands of people have, I included constructive feedback and ideas...yet no response, so I have informed many people of their awful service and have had success in impacting a company who does not care about those who support it).

  • Great video. I'm going to use this to introduce reducing, reusing, and recycling to a group of 2nd graders. Nice and simple. Thank you!
