Yes, I did order the fiber glass stuff. I still really don't know if it was worth the extra money or not. I know most commercial builders don't use it. Also, there is no substitute for plenty of steel, deep beams, and if really bad soil, piers. What I was pulling up w/ my hammer was a 4" square mesh of steel. That mesh should be close to the surface to prevent surface cracks. (I still had a few hair line surface cracks develop, even w/ the fiber glass in the concrete and steel mesh)
Did you say fiber meshor fibercrete?Im asuming i am thinking of the exact same substance that i have been dealing with. It is the cement with the monofilament fibers to increase the strength
