my graphics card is a NV 9800GT when i run crysis warhead (all Enthusiast) i get around 55-60 fps all the time and i tweaked my graphics so they're insane.
I use a PC that I put together myself, hence the low price. My processor is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor (with mother board for £100). I use a ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (896MB GDDR3) (this cost me about £160). 4GB Corsair heatsinked RAM DDR2 (£40). Along with a SATA hardrive and a 700w power supply.
i dunno why but its like the vidio is getting worse when i se it here then playing it..... and i got a nvidia 9600 gt grapich card so i should could play with minimum med graphics... when i do that 5 mins play time and the screen goes black and my pc shut down :( can any1 tell me why??? my processer is Intel Core 2 CPU 6320 1.86GHz 1.87GHZ and my RAM is 2046 MB isent that good enough to make my computer NOT go down? i hate playing my games with LOW grapichs... HELP!
hmm.... your maybe right... im getting my laptop here on wensday so if the game ALSO freak out its my games fault... and btw are windows xp Home edision better to play games on then vista? or should i get Windows 7?? :D
well, I dunno about Windows 7... I didnt even know it was out(is it?), but the windows XP will probably run Crysis better cause it looks like windows Vista requirements are higher... But make sure you got DX10, i think it makes the game look better, i dunno. And good luck on trying out the laptop xD
i do have DX10 and i dont think windows 7 is out yet... i hope it comes before Diablo 3 if that game ever comes out... well if you ever play crysis online look for a map named Have Fun Or Else :D and try writing my name in it and i may answer :D
It won't release until 2010.. plus the beta version that came out still has unknown bugs.. I don't think it will work on it.. unless that OS has similar program capabilities like Vista
I hope Windows 7 will come out even better than XP or Vista.. otherwise Microsoft is so screwed :@
You need a better graphics card than the 8500GT, with your other specs I would suggest at the very least an 8800GT, 8500 series just doesnt get it done and will bottleneck your system...
BTW I meant to hit reply and it hit spam instead, and marked your message as spam...sorry about that :P
sorry to bum you out but you will NOT be able to play crysis even CLOSE to max with an 8500 GT bro....its just too weak......I am using a 9600GSO and I can run it smoothly on mainstream settings

I have since purchased a new card, NV GTX 285 - My 8800 melted or something.
Fairly consistant performance increase.

And to the other guy... For the most part of the video I am running the game in 1024 / 1024.
I think, if my memory serves me correctly, when I tuned it up to the max AA I used 7XX whatever it was :P

it's going to be, but. if you get good water cooling/heatsink, you can turn the fan speed down.

Its probably cause your Power supply doesnt take the high voltage requirement of the card. Mines does that sometimes.

Don't bother with Windows 7 just yet..
It won't release until 2010.. plus the beta version that came out still has unknown bugs.. I don't think it will work on it.. unless that OS has similar program capabilities like Vista

you cant expect that windows 7 will be better than windows vista and XP directly when it comes out.
It will take a while, and it will need alot of updates until it gets like XP is today.

On what settings will I be able to play Crysis ?
acefujikura 3 years ago
I'd say quite close to max settings, you might have to tune down your resolution and the odd setting - but nothing too dramatic.

Running this on a computer about 1.5 years old.
FPS without fraps usually remains steady at about 30 fps.
