@iColorado303 I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, but you dont need an engineering degree to go aviation. There are guys w/ Music, history, Communications, Business, etc.
@iColorado303 This system is classist discrimination.
It almost doesn’t matter what your degree concentration is in, what matters is which Ivy League university you attended. If you aren’t Ivy League then your margin drops to almost zero.
You’d better have a 4.0 average, be in 1 of a handful of programs that they’d accept, or you are not in the correct class of mankind.
If you are female, you have head-of-the-line privileges.
@Runaholism: Yeah thats about normal. Out of that 72, maybe 40 of us were originals from the start. The rest had rolled in at some point throughout the duration. Doesn't matter, but gives you an idea.
@spiceytaco95 - The NWUs (blue camo) are worn at ocs after the indoc period is done. After ocs, it depends on your job. As an aviator, I never wear mine whereas a surface warfare officer or intel officer may get more use out of theirs.
@delateem - Yea looking back on it now, its hilarious. Cleaning out the rose garden and cookie jar that day was NOT fun or funny then....haha but it is now. No worries about the pics, I understand how difficult the class teams make things at times.
do all navy personel wear the blue camo cuz i coulda swore that was only seals but then again the first time i ever saw that camo was at coranado on my rotc orientation trip
This is hilarious. I remember watching your Outpost and seeing Gallagher get destroyed by GySgt Bamba. I also remember watching you guys clean the cookie jar and rose garden and bring it inside... which was probably the most hilarious thing I saw at OCS. Sorry for not taking pictures, our class team was pretty demanding of us. Go Blue.
what was your degree in? to become an aviator...
