  • My BMR is 1466 and my AMR is 2,000....I'm pretty sedentary at work, but I also lift weights 3x per week doing LesMills Pump (awesome!!!) and I go to 4 Zumba classes per week and take in a couple of runs at the gym!

  • woahhh... my BMR says that i should eat 2046 calories?? i'm between moderately active and very active

i use MyFitnessPal and my goal net calories is 1400 per day.

i've been sticking to it and it hasn't been too difficult (if i don't eat out with friends or drink alcohol...) and i've lost about 15 pounds since i started college in september!! :D

the "freshman 15" can kiss my healthy ass! :P

  • is it true that BMI and BMR become inaccurate at extreme heights (i.e. rather short or rather tall)? I read somewhere that BMI isn't accurate below about 5'3", but doesn't say what to do about it...

  • BMR: 1382.5

    AMR: Between 1901 and 2143 (light-to-mod. active)

    Thank you very much!!! =^_^=

Keep on doing this amazing work that you have been doing. Much love from Germany to you Cassey. Youre such an inspiration to me :) <3

i've lost 40 lbs sice Jul of last year and i feel great.

    I say WATER!

  • @sofieloux1 You don't need to workout longer, just effectively. And of course you'll get results from doing a combo of both!

  • @hiyapii420 Frozen is absolutely fine!

  • @bellbelliot It's just random stock music!

  • bmr 1428

  • :) thanks for the video. I've been wondering if im eating the right amount of calories! The song that plays throughout the video is great...who is the artist?

  • Hello, I've been eating steamed veggies with long grain rice for my dinners and I'm wondering if frozen veggies are still a nutritous substitute for fresh veggies. Frozen vegitables are just so much more convient.

  • BMR: 1547.2

    AMR: 2127.4

  • Haha I'm sorry that dog is really distracting.. Haha

    BMR 1002, AMR 1553

  • Also, eating less than 1500 cal a day is not healthy. Trust me, I used to eat less that 800 and well... That was just Hell. Eat the right portions and vary your diet.

  • @blogilatestv bmr:1500 amr: 2500 Before i saw this i usually ate around 1800/2000 cals a day but i work out 4/5 a week. Will i get better results from working out longer or cutting down cals?

  • BMR: 1422.6

    AMR=1774.6

  • @Elli182GiIl Yes 1 food cal Iis a kcal

  • random ass dog lol

  • I got HUGE numbers though.. bmr: 1860; amr: 2977?! uhm..

  • BMR: ~ 1500

    AMR: ~ 2400

  • I'm confused. You cut out 500 calories from your diet, is that subtracted from your AMR a day?

  • Oh can you please do a video about cellulite ?

  • u luking very pretty...:-)

  • one "Food Calorie" is one kcal right? ive done science & engineering for too long and it makes this confusing... otherwise i was thinking my weetabix is 134000 calories and that doesnt sound right to me!

  • BMR=1333.2

AMR=1950 this could vary a lot though as im a student, sometimes im sitting in lectures or at a computer all day and somtimes im really active and crazy!

ive no idea how many calories i eat a day, im too lazy to count, i just eat what i think is healthy! I'll have a go though!

  • ugh such tiny numbers :( BMR 1177.15 and AMR 1648.01

  • What does the protein shake do??

  • BMR ~ 2200

    AMR ~ 2500 >.>

  • My BMR is 1633... and my AMR is 2245.... Both those numbers are too high though- because when I've actually lost weight in my life, I was eating 1200-1500 calories per day... and working out for an hour 5x a week.... and losing 2lbs/week. :) Unless i go hardcore, I don't lose.

  • My BMR is 1524 and my AMR is 2362

  • LOVE the outfit!(:

  • @kimtwilight13 thank you!

  • BMR: 1352.8

    AMR: 2096.84 - 2333.58

I'm about to go get one of those apps! (:

  • @shutterbug8348 cool, they are free!

  • BMR: 1566

    AMR: 2427

I find it soo hard to eat this much!! I love working out and I'm trying to build muscle and more tone but I really struggling to eat enough -_-

  • Weight 260lbs:

    BMR: 1979.8

    AMR: 3068.69

If I subtract 1000 calories to lose 2 lbs a week I need 2068.69 calories a day. Lately I have been eating clean (6 times a day), drinking water (almost a gallon a day), and exercising but I struggle to even get in 1500 calories a day because I feel full. I am concern that if I actually eat 2067 calories I'll end up not losing weight. What do you suggest?

  • @goldenqueen1608 well, these #s are just estimates. are u losing weight now with what you're eating? and are u taking protein powder?

  • @BlogilatesTV I have a protein shake with water or almond milk after a workout, if I am a little hungry at night, or if I feel like I haven't eaten enough protein.

I have not weighted my self yet. During the day I feel like I have more energy but some days at night between after dinner and bed my head tends to hurt which probably means I am not eating enough. I am a college student living in a dorm and eating in a cafe. I take a multivitamin. I eat plain oatmeal with blueberries

  • @BlogilatesTV and almonds in the morning (cooked in my room), protein with veggies and rice for lunch and dinner, and almonds, string cheese, or plain Greek yogurt with fruit, humus with veggies or Nut-Thins crackers, or a slice of whole wheat bread with natural almond or peanut better for a snack. On the weekends I make my own meals which is basically the same as during the week with protein, veggies, and grains at lunch and dinner.

  • @BlogilatesTV My goal is eventually to be 150/160 lbs which means I should be eating that much protein. How can I incorporate more protein and increase my calorie intake? What foods should I add? Thank you very much!

  • @goldenqueen1608 more lean protein like chicken breasts, turkey breasts, tofu, edamame, beans, quinoa, egg whites, etc. the rest, get from veggies! and as many non starchy carbs as possible.

  • My BMR is 179 and my AMR is 2155.2. I'm a college student so plenty of walking to classes. I'll also start to walk my dog from now on. We both gotta get back in shape. (;

  • BMR: 1350

    AMR: 1856.8

    hahaha..

  • i got about 2300 calories... i eat under 1500 calories a day and have gained over 10 pounds in a month... idon't know what to do...

  • @ebucchino it matters what you're eating too. these need to be clean foods.

  • @BlogilatesTV i eat almost 100% clean... i have my entire life. =/ my diet consists mainly of chicken, fish, nuts and seeds, hummus and cottage cheese as protein sources, fruits and vegetables, all my carbohydrates that don't come from fruits and veggies are 100% whole wheat or whole grain. bleh... =(

  • @ebucchino Are you sedentary for most of the day and eating big meals? If so, move around more and eat small meals all throughout the day.

I used to be sedentary and eat only one meal a day and I eat so much more now but am thinner.

  • @whackowitch and @iDemonicFantasy i stated that i work out every day -_- i am VERY VERY active. i'm on my feet 90% of the day, i am a long distance runner and i work out heavily 7 days a week. i eat 95% clean i've been extremely active and a VERY healthy eater my entire life so no

  • @ebucchino In that case, I think you should stop obsessing about your weight. If you are a long distance runner then you are probably not over weight.

Just make sure you eat frequently.

  • @ebucchino Ur body thinks ur starving & is holding on 2 weight 2 survive. Try eating more by incorporating an extra meal (something healthy of course) 2 boost ur metabolism.

  • @ebucchino Are you eating healthy in those 1500 calories? Or is is mostly salty and unhealthy snacks? Also, are you exercising?

  • @ebucchino Because when you do not eat enough, your body goes into starvation mode, meaning that most of the food goes for fat to keep you alive.

  • @ebucchino If you don't eat enough food as you aren't your body will go into staravtion mode where it clings on to every last calorie that goes into your body because it believes itself to be starving. If your AMR is 2300 then about 200 calories or so will be perfect to get your body to give up the weight.

Also you might be eating things that you are allergic to and/or that make you retain water, try switching up your diet and drinking plenty :) Hopefully this helps!

  • @ebucchino Instead of putting in your weight for the first number put in your ideal weight! That will work.

  • @ebucchino she said 'everybody's body reacts differently to food' you have to find that something in your diet which makes you gain weight. Eat clean: veggies and fruits. Eat proteins and drink lots and lots of water. Exercise 3 times per week and you'll see a difference. There is now way you can gain weight by following those steps. Good luck :)

  • my BMR is 1500. My AMR range is 2070-2350. I eat about 1650 cals a day (sometimes more, sometimes less). I work out about 2-4 times a week, but I am in college so I'm also doing plenty of walking!

  • Mine AMR is 1745...awesooooooome

  • Love the challenge, but was I the only one who cracked up when the dog disappeared from the top of the screen around 4:21 and then reappeared at 4:28?

  • This is my favorite challenge so far!!!

  • i did mine and its 1,800 calls but i eat 1,200....wish i lost weight:(

  • @pinksugarprincess07 you should not eat less than 1200 - you need more than that to keep your body out of starvation mode! esp if you want to build muscle and have energy to workout like a maniac!

  • Cassie, what if I want to lose weight but if i eat 500 cals less I'm going to be falling under 1500cals a day

  • @sourstrawberriesxx you should re-evaluate what you're eating. are these 1500 cals you're eating now clean or not? try 1500 cals of clean food first. i promise you will see a difference.

  • my bmr is 1143.5

    amr is 1772

    lovin your challenges

    xx

  • THIS IS FOR WOMEN, not teens btw. as a teen i can maintain my weight with 2500 calories! 1500 should be the minimum for weightloss concerning most teens.

    i definitely endorse eating intuitively!

  • I LOVE your handwriting!!

  • @yoshigahawhaw haha really? it used to be nicer!

  • these challenges are awesome, keep it up!! <3

  • So, If I don't eat as many calories as I am supposed to, It will help me loose weight?

  • I love thesee challenges

  • ahh!! thanks so much for this video :)
