  • Ive always favoured Hollow crown over the here and now, but if they keep up their songs on their newest album just like this one il be pleased :) ( no too keen on Untitles i think it is? anyways its too "the here and now-ish for my liking"

  • Top song as allways lad's! keep it up!

  • @PeterNorthLoads woahwoahwoahwoah.. Ruin?!;)

  • I think i may be a minority. But i absolutley love hollow crown, it is techincally and just amazing.. but i think the here and now i still very good - just a little different. Because the are an amazing band and make amazing music.

  • @AnythingThatsMetal Hollow Crown is my fav too.

  • amazinng!!

  • nice

  • All these shitty scene kids think Hollow Crown and The Here and Now are the best, if not only, thing that this band's released. If they knew about Nightmares and Ruin they'd probably think twice about saying Architects haven't gone mainstream.

  • @queerduck321 I think Hollow crown and The Here and Now are awesome and I am definitely in no way a scene kid.

  • Mainstream-music is music for the masses. I don't really think that this is mainstream^^

  • Yo, I like Ruin, Hollow Crown, AND The Here and Now. Architects is a GOOD BAND. stop bitching.

  • awesome song, thanks for the download! :)

  • TBH I prefer the old Architecs. But actually I don't dislike their new work; bands change, we have to deal with it...

  • if you like the OLD Architects check "Elegance Decay" on facebook or on youtube!

  • @fi0re1991 no

  • Good thinking, I can't imagine them trying to stretch "The Here and Now" sound over more albums.

A good return to form for an excellent band.

  • Love the 'Follow the Water' riffing. ughh i can't get enough of this song.

  • You want a voice, but your voices sound like violence. You don't deserve this life. This is your country, This is your home, Here is the house where you grew up alone. Remember this for what it was, a bleak projection of absent minds. You want a voice, but your voices sound like violence. You shout so loud but all I hear is silence. The city streets that you show no love, are bruised and broken, because of you. This is your country, This is your home, Here is the house where you
  • This is your country, This is your home, Here is the house where you grew up alone. The city streets, you used to love, are bruised and broken, are black and blue. On our TV's, miles away. On our doorsteps with no reason why. Take it back, take it back, take it back.
  • This is incredible!!! I was unsure of what to expect, but this is insane! It's a perfect mix between HC and THAN, and it's amazing! The guitar work, the singing/screaming ratio, everything. Love it love it love it!

  • This song is so, powerful. Listening to the lyrics, makes me feel so disgusted in the people who did all of this. I am British, and I hate what happened. I wanted to come over for a holiday, now, I don't think I could.

  • fuckin sick

  • I'll admit that the album that brought me to Architects was The Here and Now, but since discovering them I love all their albums and I really don't understand all the hate with THAN...

  • @kungfuphyta It's mainly because THAN doesn't have the old Technicalities that it had in Ruin or Hollow Crown. I personally do believe that Ruin was their best album, but HC defo has a lot of amazing songs. I'm really looking forward to this new album. Can't wait for it to be released. If all the songs are the same quality of Devil's Island, this is going to be one spectacular album.

  • I've been a fan of Architets since 2007 and The Here and Now is my favourite album from them. I must be in the minority :/

  • @xPickUpYourFeetx actually i love the here and now too ! learn to live is one of my favourite song from Architects, even if sometimes listening to follow the water or early grave is amazing :)

  • @xPickUpYourFeetx no, dont worry. I love the song early grave, but i prefer definately the here and now, in my oppinion its their best album!

  • THIS IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE.

i... can't wait for the album release

  • Benny Hill Theme in the suggested videos. Heavy.

  • THANK FUCKING GOD THIS SOUND IS BACK.

  • is this an album? or just a single?

  • @Vasckin just a single, they will record an album in january 2012

  • @AurelienMariat It's going to be on a reissue of The Here and Now with another new song. They record a new album this January.

  • @AurelienMariat so looking forward to it, this song is really great!!!! thx for upoloading =)

  • People seem to be forgetting Nightmares when mentioning this band... Now THERE was a technical album.

Still though, this song sounds well good, looking forward to hearing more.

  • *Jaw drops*

  • Does anyone think the cleans sound a bit like the Blackout's? Not bashing, course, this song is just amazing.

  • This is a lot more like the older Architects....which I love.

Here and now is not good.

  • I actually dont like when a band sings and scream, but this is really, Really amazing!

  • I'm sorry fans, but if you like Architects for The Here And Now album, then you're listening to this band for the wrong reason...

Architects is definitely a band with the technicality as its roots.

  • @DiabloSVV12 Thats a pretty stupid thing to say. People can listen to this band for whatever reason, its not your role to determine who should listen to them or not.

  • @Smythe705 I'm perfectly fine with anyone listening to this band. But when they post on Architects' videos arguing, "The Here and Now is the best because there's no screaming crap and there's no random guitar riffs.", they have no idea what Architects is capable of.

  • @DiabloSVV12 Thats abit off, The Here and Now Is definately present In this song, It is (in my eyes) a perfect combination of the Hollow Crown technicality and the ambience of The Here and Now,

  • @DiabloSVV12 u're so right. ! REAL ARCHITECTS: youtube com watch ? v = A3EY8URfGgc

  • @DiabloSVV12 Im listening to Architects because they're fucking brilliant. The Here and Now was a great album and was on a completely different spectrum then Hollow Crown (which was an incredible album). I listen to this band because they make amazing music, not because i'm an uptight asshole that thinks heavy & technical is the only way to go. Keep doing what you do Architects.

  • @DiabloSVV12 Shut up mate, You can't like a band for the wrong reasons ! If you like Architects, you like Architects, Its not just about liking 'The Here And Now' just because Architects made it and you liked 'Hollow Crown' it's about ling it cause it's good music This song is the PERFECT mix between The here and Now and Hollow Crown.

  • @DiabloSVV12 Surely listening because you like the music is the right reason?

  • Also this makes me think of an intense fight in a post-apocalyptic world. So sick

  • This is just so awesome beyond belief.

  • People who say that the sound of The Here and Now is completely different from Hollow Crown obviously have not heard Ruin. The biggest leap they made was from Ruin to Hollow Crown. I don't understand all the hate on THAN . Though, I mean it's not as good as HC, but it's still a fantastic album and it stands up above 90% of everything that is out on the market right now. This song is awesome, and if you constantly antagonize them for everything they put out, then shut up, and stop listening.

  • @DarkTyler359 True, but Ruin and Hollow Crown were both incredible. It was a massive leap yes, they took a risk with it, but I bet they're glad they did. The Here and Now definitely does not show as much experimenting and technique as HC and Ruin. I'm not saying THAN was awful, it got them more fans and they're still trying to find what's best for them, so good on them. No matter whatever architects give us next, I'll still love them, because for however long, they gave us some badass music.

  • @DarkTyler359 completely agree man, Architects are getting better and better

  • @DarkTyler359 id say nightmares to ruin is bigger , as they changed vocalists on top of ruin and hollow crown are similar technical styles while nightmares is a world of its own

  • @PeterNorthLoads I can understand people missing the days of 'Hollow Crown' since that is without a doubt their most polished release-- and this song even sounds like a step back in that direction (thank God!) but why on Earth would you want 2006 Architects back? 'Ruin' was ok, but Sam had two weeks to write and record vocals for that album and even as good as the tech-bits may have been, they didn't stand out compared to all the other prog bands doing the same thing.

  • @TetraVaalBioSecurity Having only two weeks to write and record vocals doesn't have an effect on the quality of the recordings or the technicality of the music. Hollow Crown Sounds more "polished" because they used better equipment to record.

  • Yes, proper Architects are back!

  • downloaded the song from the link and its a good quality, but one thing though, there's 13 seconds of silence at the beginning of the song. Let me know when you fix that.

  • @Kelspitchenese16 yeah sorry i was too lazy to edit it, will update it soon ;)

  • @Kelspitchenese16 If you have itunes you can just change the start time to 0:12

  • @Kelspitchenese16 On itunes right click the song and press get info, then go on the options tab and change the start time too 0:13 :)

  • @Kelspitchenese16 Just use Audacity to sort that out, how lazy can you get really?!

  • @JobForAMaxboy real lazy apparently.

  • @Kelspitchenese16 you can change it in itunes to only start playing at 13 seconds or whatever too.

  • @Kelspitchenese16 what you can't just download a software called audacity for free and edit yourself. shame. on you.

  • I will be tick-or-treating to this song as it plays

  • anyone got lyrics?

  • @LordSear no lyrics yet, sorry...
