so ? what what kind of matter that doesnt emit or reflects light? answer? empty space. that fuckin lense is a big empty space surrounded by a big piles of matters such as galaxies. And that fuckin empty space strecthes and warp due to the gravitational interaction in between those big things that causes a lense effect. if viewed from a certain angle from a distant.
On the other hand there is also dark energy - an energy we cant detect but can observe as thats the force that is ripping the universe apart, its very powerful, indeed more powerful than gravity cuz normally the galaxies would shrink down and get cloeser and closer to each other under the force of gravity. However dark energy manages to surpass gravity and galaxies are getting away from each other with greater and greater speed.
Calm down people .. In fact dark matter represents more than 99.5% of the mass of the universe, it's not imagination, it's there, scientists claim we can't see it cuz it doesnt produce or reflect light but it distorts image and light, kinda like a giant lens.
we cant say anything about dark matter. We havent even detected it, so in my opinion it is still an imagination. Last time i checked, physics was an experimental science.
The expansion of the universe is accelerating because life and civilization is evolving at an ever increasing pace as the build up of patterns is cululative as it is self replicatory.
No. this is not a gimmick. i saw some other sources... there is 70 % dark energy, 25% dark matter and 5 % of matter in the universe, according to a recent calculation by physicists. Hubble Telescope also picked up other movement than this earlier on..
j1paz you can't try to explain something as difficult to understand as dark matter and expect others to believe what your talking about if you fuck up explaining what E=mc^2 is. ^2 /= square root.
Dark matter is rubbish there is no such thing it was made up to explain the missing gravity holding the universe together. This was then found to not be enough energy so they invented dark energy to fill in the missing energy.
dark matter isn't used to "hold the universe together" but rather to explain the expansion of the universe that can't be accounted for by baryonic matter
Hey dipshit...guess what? You were fucking wrong!! HAHAH I knnow it's been 2 months...but guess what? Dark matter does infact hold the universe together! It acts as "scafolding" for the universe. It's gravity "herds" stars into galaxies etc.
hey dipshit...guess what? You are fucking you're self over with other people's words...everything pulls everything together...galaxies are being held by something more then dark matter because if you look at what dark mattre is well...it seems to be nothing more then something like fire or static electricity...it just hold a shape that hold no light and deflects no light....but when its detected...its just passing through...not pulling everything...like a black hole with accelerating mass.
What the scientists have failed to take into account is this:
The equation is E=MC2 Energy=Mass x the square root of the speed of light
This works fine if the object that you are measuring is static however and this is the thing atoms are never in a state of rest so therefore must have energy + mass furthermore these atoms act on each other generating even more energy through gravity.
yeah there is i have been studying it and it is the material inside black holes and is the cause of
solar depletion

It's just an empty space morons! or maybe the edge of the universe or God's BIG pulsing TESTICLES.! We havent seen the whole body yet.

i totaly dont get wat happened.
but every1 who insults others because they disagree with their views is a fucking moron for doing so.

Does anyone else think this is a gimmick? I thought what they were looking for was easier to find in caves...

hahahaha E = M x square root of speed of light?? go back to grade 9 physics please. E = EM CEE SQUARED. not square root, you dumbass.
