i got my tilt about a year and a half ago when it came out new and since then i havent updated it at all.

it has been going REALLY slow lately and freezes on me all the time espesially when im txting.

do u know if i have to updrade it to make it faster?

G's roms are good look at dk.8 or 9 one is noted for being really stable and quick.. google: xda + kaiser + g rom

ugh.. its not a smart phone its a pocket pc. I tossed aside my iphone because i couldn't watch flash movies in the safari browser (skyfire rulez). I like the rom, but man.. none of the 6.1 roms want to play nice with my inav iguidance ... so i'm stuck with 6.0. Didn't have the problem with my 8525 running wm6.1 cooked roms. hmm... dunno. btw, what rom is that?

I will; I actually popped in Dutty's TouchFlo Rom Beta 2 TILT VERSION. I finally found the gps fix for wm6.1 on xda-developers so... i'm cubin it now.

It is still a windows mobile phone. Version 6.1 It just runs better and have more user friendly three dimensional features.

Thanks for the info. Very impressive. I want to update mine. Is there a way to pick certain things to add and some from other roms or is it pretty much all or none?? Meaning you lose some from others.

You can go to xda developers- kaiser- Kaiser ROM development. Look at the different ROM's most come with the basic software and features.

Some are called Lite Roms which have less programs and a basic Home screen without all the 3D rendering. Read the threads and you'll learn alot. there is I wiki search so make sure you use it. Don't just ask questions without reading first, they're particular about that.
