With all due respect to emstrad who should be commended for doing a superb job in uploading each years' various scores I don't think the featured segment of Sleepers does it justice. The theme entitled 'Hell's Kitchen' is a much stronger piece of music, both unsettling and poignant, which I would cite in favour of this film's soundtrack.
Notable omission(s): Nellee Hooper and Craig Armstrong's 'Love Theme' for Romeo + Juliet was one of the most beautiful pieces of music from 1996, and another perennially overlooked composer, Carter Burwell was yet again seemingly ignored for his magnificent Fargo score.
