If I remember correctly, this strange number of players was because some girl that they casted (not someone who auditioned) decided at the last moment that she didn't want to do it. They need to stop casting their own players (all bartenders/wanna-be actors from CA) and pick those who are true fans of the show and wouldn't back out like that.

I don't know if I'm going to be able to watch much more of this season. It was so bad that when it first aired...I almost stopped watching the series entirely. And I've been watching since the 2nd to last episode of season 1. Thank God China, the season after this, was one fo the best. It totally revived my passion for Survivor. What's scary is I was almost not going to watch Survivor: China, because Survivor: Fiji had turned me off so much.

Sylvia is too much of a perfectionist and "book smart" to be on Survivor. She wants' to build a perfect shelter, but on Survivor, you need not to build the best shelter, but the best shelter you can in the shortest amount of time.

@moonphoenix1 The plans are pretty elaborate, it has to be more than the average shelter for that challenge. Sylvia did go overboard with the orders, but she knew what she was doing and could have delegated better than she did.

huh no,i thought the tribes were as even as it could be in terms of age.ravu had young buffs like rocky mookie and earl and anthony is probably fairly young too,and all their women were young,jessica erica michelle and rita is still in her 30s,yau man is the only old one.while moto had gary cassandra.ravu is probably younger in average age

@ulongkoror i agree now but i think the whole "haves" and "have nots" was not a good thing to do becuz th tribe who lives like kings and queens and ravu were like dying of thirst and hunger which led moto to dominate in challenges and life the twist just shouldve been 19 castaways, and splitting merged tribe into teams when Michelle got voted out.

well i heard the producers who thought of this idea thought it would make an amazing season to watch a bunch of hungry under dogs come out and beat the kings and queens,but it didnt go according to plan and the under dogs couldnt win anything,which led jeff to say this is his least fav season

that was a very methodical tribe division. first all the women, then all the men. she must the the type to avoid conflict, making it a point to separate rocky and dreamz as the first two men.
