What's your opinion on the Viper-50? I know the 50 of any of them aren't that good, but I've only tried the M50

depend on your skills and your gear, it doesn't sound like a 500 euro guitar, but for 200 or a little more you've got a nice guitar.

I like my viper 50, is heavy weight and heavy sound, plain sound, great for metal and distorted styles, is a good deal with fixed bridge.

the noise gate cuts the noise of the guitar, with cheap guitars are great

and with the boost you have more gain for the sound (distortion and volume)

well, if you want to play some metal, punk or rock, you must buy an LTD, LTD's are great for the price, don't expecto mucho from a 200 euro guitar but excelent for the price ;)

Either LTD's or ibanez's i would say, BUT dont under estimate brands that arnt that popular, you must always try a guitar and see if it feels nice dont try and buy the first guitar you get your hands on i made that mistake when i started, good luck.

soz if this is a dumb question, how do you turn the noise gate on and off on the spider??? i havent had mine long, and cant find it lol

hey, well i try to explain you:

you have to hold the TAP button and quickly turn the drive button, and if you activate the boost the A Channel will iluminate, and if you hold the TAP button and quickly turn the REVERB button, the D channel will be iluminated if noise gate is activated.

I think that's all on the manual of the amp, try what i say, if you don't understand ask me again.

Because if u use your middle finger u can have an injurie because of the curve u make and its more secure of having a good sound with the middle finger u cant be 100% sure ur pressing the correct strings

well i think is a good guitar for lead and rhythm guitar, mine was an viper 50, is the lowest version of it, it sounds good, but if you buy a version with EMG like the viper 400 or viper 1000, this EMG Active i think is a nice pickups for profesional playing and it have's demoliting sound.

well, it's a nice guitar for the price, but remember: FOR THE PRICE. It haves metal sound and clean tone is nice too. This viper isn't a ESP but it's great for the low price.
