  • hey, do you know if i could order a 7 string, 27 fret guitar with a floyd and passive duncans from there?

  • if u dont mind me asking how do get that kind of money to have alllllll these amazing pieces of gear what do u do for a living

  • sounds good, looks good, and those duncans seem very responsive. the tone was a little harsh on the treble side in your demo though imo. probably sounds great in person though.

  • Hey ToneKing what do you think about the Ampeg VH140c Head, would it be good for some heavy death metal tone? And any idea where i can find one?

  • @OldskoolDM80s90s Ebay, and that was the most popular death metal head in the 90's used by bands such as Dying fetus, suffocation etc, gives you extreme low end with them awesome grinding lows and is so cheap!

  • I love how shiny it is. xD

  • Ed Roman is a Great Luthier To!

  • you said 300-1200, gretchs are imports and they go to 5000

  • Looks an AWFUL lot like Devin Townsend's signature Peavey guitar.

  • I have a custom coming form B.Rico Jr in the next month, ill post some pics when i get it

  • I really liked this, wish I had the money for one. :)

  • i would just like to thank u ttk for not borin me with the same riff every video even tho i heard a firmiliure one thanks dude

  • Thank You Brother! I remember talking to you a while back about Bernie Rico Jr. I wish I had your cash flow to check out all that awesome stuff! Keep up the great videos!

  • Hey StompingSpuds - great to hear from you. It's been a while :-) !!

  • how many of your amps do ou use on a regular basis?

  • I just placed an order for a BERNIE RICO JR guitar a few days ago. I ordered a custom handmade Diva ( model name ). Bernie treated me like I was a platinum selling musician. He is one cool dude and a helluva guitar builder. I can't wait for my axe to arrive. I will make sure that I post some videos and sound clips of the guitar when it arrives. A big thanks to BERNIE RICO JR GUITARS

  • one awesome axe....i might check out this builder for my next guitar

  • TK, nice lookin' guitar to be sure. Bernie Rico Jr's website shows some awesome stuff. Very nice.

  • Hell of an axe, indeed!

  • I have a buddy who is starting out making guitars. So far he's made an acoustic guitar, and a fretless electric bass. I haven't seen the acoustic, but the bass is pretty nice for a beginning guitar maker. It has some issues, but it's better than a lot of lower end basses out there. I'm thinking of having him make me a fretless five string after he gets better. Who knows, maybe you'll end up with one of his guitars in the future.

  • youre sooo fucking rich and you dont play that amazing either and have all that shit...thats crazy

  • Different necks fit different hands. If everyones hands were the same then one type of neck would kick the crap out of another etc but we all have different hands and different necks fit them better.

A schecter has a thicker but more importantly ROUNDER neck than ibanez etc so it feels much thicker. Doesn't mean good or bad just means it fits your hand or it doesn't.

Rico builds one hell of a guitar from what I've seen and is a very personable guy. Kudos to TTK for giving him a shout!

  • cool guitar. Don't forget Strictly 7 guitars when you do the custom guys. My S7 should be done in a couple months and ill post some video of it when i get it.

  • I normally really don't like flying v's, but that one is really beautiful. Those rounded curves really give it a nice shape.

  • @kornelious

I think you exaggerate about schecter necks being really thick. They are only like 1mm thicker than ibanez. And my hands aren't very big and I can shred just fine on my schecter.

  • ill be looking forward to the list of builders other than the big company ones

  • what does a little special mean.. means = 3 grand plus... thats what a little special means lol... i liked his site and his guitars but in this horrid economy... 3400 might as well be 10 grand..

  • that ENGL sounds really nice!

  • @Epicmayhem It sounds like shit you cant even hear each note they all sound fuzzed together.

  • Hey TK, are you familiar with Schecter's Hellraiser line? I've been looking into a C-1 and your reviews are always the most helpful, so if you could do a review of one/check out its tone, that would be great.

  • schecter necks are thick, and i dont like the fret board feel too much. my suggestions is get a desent ibanez, the wizard two neck is nice, and fast. i mostly play esp standards, or ibanez. schecter are ok gutiars, but again the neck reminds me of les paul's kinda thick, fret board kinad bulky.. also the jackson guitars are nice too they are in between a ibanez and a esp standard on thickness.. my two cents

  • Thick necks kick the crap out of thin necks IMO. Thin necks like Ibanezes feel like toys; thick necks are the shit. And I've played almost exclusively on a Les Paul the past few years, so that helps me like that style of necks.

  • i would disagree but again it's all personal preference, thinner necks allow for your hands grip to reach around with much easier access with less neck to restrict the reach. thin necks are considered metal guitars due to it's easier access to play faster scales. i've owned a few schecters the only one i liked was the jerry horton signature, the rest kinda blew.. schecter are mid grade guitars at best. you can get the sound you want from just adding emg's to any guitar.

  • Thin necks make my hand cramp within 5 minutes; thick necks are so much more comfortable to me. And that "thin necks=metal" thing is untrue, again, it all comes down to preference.

  • my opinion i'd go feel every guitar i could, find the perfect feeling guitar for your taste, then add emg's.. and be happy.. schecter imo are mid grade. i have two esp standards amazing guitars, worth every cent. between a gibson and an ibanez is where i'd rate them neck wise, they are great feeling. amazing fast necks.. i'd highly suggest a true esp not an korean ltd.. the ltd's are a joke in comparison.

  • @VadaHada69 @VadaHada69-You can't go wrong with a Schecter Hellraiser! You can find them sometimes on Ebay or whatever for around $400.EMG's,nice neck, killer sound and always nice finishes.I own alot of guitars and my Hellraiser is my fave-and also my two c1's are great.

  • Ok that sounds cool. I would swap the pups out for some SD Blackouts, I don't like EMGs.

  • @VadaHada69 those pickups are SD blackouts....

  • No, not on Schecter Hellraisers. They have EMG 81-89TWs.

  • nice axe TTk thanks for this my friend keep it up dude

  • That guitar is beautiful.

  • thanks a lot TTK had seen these guitars before once in one of your vids but had no idea they were that good... I'll definitely check them out

  • Perfect job!!! you should make a review of a Moser Custom Shop handcrafted guitar. Not many people know him out there and it's a shame in my opinion because his guitars are the real deal...

  • nice.

  • You should check you the redline series from Godin Guitars they are in my opinion the best guitars plus they cost around $800 a hell of a buy

  • Hellz yes, I have a redline best fuckin guitar PERIOD.

  • definetely

  • Only a grand? Damn I would buy that for a grand easy. Very nice!

  • TTK why haven't you done any acoustic reviews?

  • hey redbird - no special reason ... truth is - i only have a hand few. i'll keep your comment in mind though. thx!!

  • im all honesty TK i want to start an amp building company i knw2 guys that can build them

  • akaboo - my advise and suggestion to you is ... if you want to do it, then do it. life is short ... go for it !!! We're only getting older every day, not younger :-) !!

  • cool guitar man im not the bigest fan of vs but i will admit that guitar looks like it screams rock on TK

  • not a big fan of this shape...i played one...seems like i'm playing a 2x4...icky...the blackouts help the sound out

  • beautiful fuckin guitar

  • Youre lucky to have that guitar... Theyre all sold out now :(

  • It looks like the Jackson Demmel V.

  • Sounds... AWESOME!
