Hmm.. No it is not wrong if trainers give there student belt in Muay Thai. But its weird.. And you cant brag about a black belt in muay thai. LOL. If the trainer does give out belts, it is for the student, to see ses progress in the sport of something visual. BUT.. In traditionally Muay Thai they are not handing out belts !! There you will see the student progress in how many fights he have, or if he is fighting N class, C class, B class or A, class..

@friedricemonster You can't change the tradition of a martial art. Muay Thai never had belts i dont know if his gym hands out belts but it wouldnt mean anything in Thailand or any Muay Thai gym.

@AndrewBranco16 No disrespect to you or gym but there are no belts in Muay Thai! I dont care what anybody says go thailand train under anybody there you wont find one belt. Only belts you will find is holding someone's pants up.

@deadwood223 Im not saying that i said Muay Thai traditionally doesnt have belts. You could go to a gym that gives out pink belts for all care. Muay Thai doesnt have a belt system that something some school made up. Go to holland or anywhere that has a good Muay Thai school and see if they have belts.
