  • make videos every year i really enjoyed it!!!

  • dude dont make fun of speedcubing it builds hand muscle for whacking off

  • Where's feliks!!!!

  • @RVH253 The video was made in 2008...

  • My record is... wait, I've never made it :(

  • @mattdavgra Good luck with that..

  • 4:30 face i use when i see 100 dollars on the ground!

  • Why are they wearing gloves...?

  • the best time there was 9 or 10 seconds my best time was 3years

  • Ugh, I feel so lame after watching this. I can only solve it using the beginner method solving by layers. I can do it in 10 minutes, but at least I can do it completely by memory.....

  • @Grasshoppa065 I use the beginner method as well, and if you spend time getting your finger-flick technique down you can solve it significantly faster. Always ltaking the cube apart and lubing it will shave off time to. The faster I've got with the beginners method is 1:30 but I usually average around 2:00. But if you want to get < 1 min you gotta use a better method for sure.

  • @NicodemusLCK I can easily average less than a minute with a beginner method. Practise and you'll get faster

  • @swedishcuber By beginner method, do you mean a layer by layer method? Like solving the bottom, then the bottom two-thirds, then the top, then the top third? You have to be very fast to solve that in less than a minute, right?

  • @NicodemusLCK Yes I mean a beginner method. 1.cross 2. Corners of first layer. 3. Second Layer. 4.Edge orientation 5.Corner orientation 6. Corner permutation 7. Edge Permutation.

Practise a lot until you average about one minute. Then learn the 4-look last layer.

It doesn't take more than 1,5 month to average less than a minute if you practise a lot. :)

  • Cool video. Too bad about Mátyás Kuti, though.

  • my record is 20days 2hours 15min.and 1sec.

  • Why are the scramblers wearing gloves?

  • Okay now throw a football. . . . .

  • Japanese and Chinese are soooo smart

  • @08Reshad thanks im chinese

  • at 4:30 he was like WTF That cube is sooooooooo sexy hahaha

  • "Well Oiled"?!

WTF? Who seriously uses oil on their cube?

  • @AsbjornOl i know right

  • @AsbjornOlling speedcubers? :/

  • @kurniasan No, using oil on cubes is just stupid! Ruins the cube completely! Silicone is the "real" lube. Yes, I am a speedcuber...

  • @AsbjornOlling I use silicone on my cubes and it works pretty well

  • wtf, it take me hours

  • JAPAN RULEZ :D

  • You cannot denie that ad! If you got the same one as me, that is.

  • Wish I could pull those times >.> need to practice and memo more... Like SilentEliminator said though, for those who read after this, it all comes down to how well you can memorize and recall a *fairly* large number of moves (when youre shooting for quick times)

  • Wow a bunch of nerds with bedhead

  • @Lukedude5 What's your fastest time?

  • wow how do i become a speed cuber

  • @MrFaulconbridge

Learn Fridich. And Practice Practice Practice.

  • @MrFaulconbridge you sell your soul. it's the only possible explination. i can't even do a single cube without a time limit. i just don't know where to start...

  • @Dannyowen555 lol i know, i think you gotta have a natural talent for it (a mathmatical mind) but even then you probably need to spend hours practicing.

  • @MrFaulconbridge

you dont really need a mathematical mind, its all about memory and observation

  • lol yeah you don't have only 15 seconds to memo bld

  • What cube is dan using

  • woohoo! go nakajima! you are my hero!! althoght i can olnly solve in 13.23 seconds as my PB!

  • fuckin faggs

  • 4:40 :/ so ironic -.-

  • cioè questi pure mentre scopano fanno sta cosa, geni

  • they re not uber nerds they re uber cool guys

  • I like Dan Harris´s "CubeStation". That´s where i learn stuff like this. My record is 51 seconds

  • which is very cool btw

  • what cube is he using

  • stupeed

  • I read Dan Harris's book. It's quite good.

  • the world record is chris dzoan 16.27 i'm not sure with 27

  • For Blindfold solves, the timer begins before the competitor uncovers it. The timer continues as he memorizes it, puts on the blindfold, and twists it. Once he removes his blindfold and/or stops the timer, the cube cannot be twisted further.

The 15 second inspection is for non-blindfold solves.

This video is old. The WR is much lower now.

  • in al of cubers, about nakajima, i cant find a vid nakajima, solving rubiks cube in a competition, blindfolded, found only once, but its not in a tournament,.

  • 6:43 Erik Akkersdijk!!

  • no thats not him,.

  • 6:44 on the far right. IT IS

  • the guy on a hat,?

    but did he also join,?

  • DAN HAVENT LONG HAIR.... some cubers have long hair....

  • lol second name, hungary LOL

  • lol all cubers have long hair

  • all of rubiks solver's, nakajima was the most popular,.

  • 15 seconds to inspect for BLD???

    lol.

  • @LorenzoCubes yeah i lol'd

  • Über Wankers

  • wow this is crazy! In the beggining where he does it in 9 sec i was like shiiittt

my personal best is 58s :]

  • how did u do it? what algorithms did u use

  • well, just recently i broke my record (45s) using PLL and OLL algorithms + some basic algs (eg LL cross), you can find them anywhere in google. I myself know about 15 algs for PLL/OLL. Then i just practiced quite alot and learned a few finger tricks. The trick on cutting down a few secs though, is learning how to spot a move you can do during another move and making F2L fast. It all comes naturaly with practice.

    Hope I helped :]

  • yu nakajima legend

  • lol they say " the american kang" so people won't think hes representing japan or something. =D i love to watch the part where yu nakajima warms up with other cubers and finishes first and just flicks the cube down on the table =). also when they were talking about the BLD, the narrator made a mistake saying they only get 15 seconds of inspection when doing BLD

  • his slo-mo is fast

  • Is that Adam Zamora at 2:15?

  • Comment removed

  • some people can do it in seconds some in minutes some in hours and well some NEVER my best is like 6 min 27 seconds i suck

i can do yoyo but im not really good at cubes

i tried to beat my record but i cant lol, it takes me at least 8mins to just get my cube looks almost like its solved
