@ashrolfe Not sure about the Fuchs, other than they fit the rally tyres that the previous owner wanted to run. Hope to start my buggy project next year, but I've got a few other projects to finish first.
@phector2004 I owned this car twice. I sold it as a road car to a guy involved in SCCA ProRally. He seam-welded the body, installed a full cage, DMS shocks, and a Euro- RS engine and hill-climb (adjustable torque-split) transmission. This drivetrain will the basis for a new long-travel off-road buggy I'm building in 2011.
@phector2004 I can guarantee it. Have a couple other resto projects going on right now, but HOPEFULLY by Jan 2011, I can yank the drivetrain and build an AWD buggy around it. Am looking forward to it.

Brilliant! good luck with it. Looks like it's on Fuchs wheels which is a little odd for a 964.
